I have this mastercard gift card that I am trying to use to make a deposit and was wondering what site would take it. I have tried full tilt and pokerstars and have been declined

No it usually has to be a visa depending on where you live. And more specifically a non reloadable all-access visa card

This is 'not' true. MastercardGiftCard works here all the time (whereas some sites no longer accept VisaGiftCard).

OP, try depositting an 'uneven' amount (ie. if $100 card.. deposit $99.62).

Hit or Miss

I have used gift cards (Visa) on Carbon and bodog. I also have used an amount of $99 to deposit. On Carbon, it took a second deposit request for it to go through.

I just deposited today, with a prepaid vanilla mastercard and I had no problems at all. I read in a bunch of other post saying that people had troble with the master card. So it might depend on where you live (i live in canada).

Well the things i did, that might help,
1) I deposited on Full Tilt

2) You have to register you card/activate it on the mastercard website. I tried to deposit before i registered the card and the transaction would not work. I then registered, and the deposit worked really fast. Everything has to be the same as the pokerwebsite as on the mastercard website.

3) Im not sure if it makes any difference, but i deposited $99.99.

Hope it helps a bit.

This card is supposed to be reg/activated at time of purchase. You also should wait ~2hrs. before attempting to use it as it occassionally takes this amount of time before it'll work (trust me, I have a friend who has used many of them & have used a few of them myself for online purchases & for depositing to online poker sites).
I too am from Canada & find this card works on Fulltilt, Pokerstars, UB, CarbonPoker, TitanPoker, DoylesRoom (actually everywhere I've tried it).

Super easy & quick to use. ~5% fee charged at time of purchase (ie. $100 card will cost you ~ $104.95)

He means register it in your name on the website, which you have to do or it will be declined.
