Hello,
I started playing on Lock in early June. No problems depositing at all. I was fortunately to turn my initial $400 into over 7K since then, mostly through MTT's.
Lock's administration page says:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"How long will withdrawals take to process?

E-wallet withdrawals are generally processed within 48 hours and Check withdrawals are processed on Monday and Thursday each week."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I live in canada, and I had my verification documents completed and accepted several weeks ago.

On July 18th, I submitted a payout request via an e-wallet method accepted by Lock. On August 2nd, I received an email from Lock saying my payout request had been processed. This was 10 business days from the date of the initial request not the 48 hours claimed by Lock Poker on their site.

So, despite the delay, I was glad to receive the notification that my payout request had been processed. However to my surprise, "processed" doesn't mean any funds have been transferred. It is now 8 days later and no funds have been transferred to my e-wallet account. I have emailed support and I get an canned response each time with the same email response only a different name on the bottom:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for your email.

I have forwarded your email to our Cashier department who will be in contact. However I would ask you to bear in mind that due to the nature of the inquiries they deal with our Cashier department’s response may not be as quick as our front line support.

Thanks in advance for your patience.

Kind Regards,

Richard

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Cashier department simply doesn't respond to emails period! I still don't have any idea why my funds haven't been transferred yet or any estimate how much longer if ever that it will take to happen.

Anyone out there successfully cashout from Lock using an e-wallet method and if so, how long did it take from start to finish and from after being notified that the request had been processed.

I would like to continue playing there but won't do so, until this payout is sucessfully completed.

Real easy to deposit - Withdrawing....not so much.

Cheers!

I made a payout request on August 23 for $2100 and I still haven't received my check. It is now October 6. I barely got an email from "JDB Services" on Friday stating that my payout has been processed, but it didn't specify if it shipped out or not. When I asked Lock Support about this, they just responded with "we will forward this to our cashier department, but they dont respond as fast as our front line support.." I've gotten that same response three times now and still have never heard from a "cashier department".. I'm assuming my check has finally mailed out and I will hopefully have it within a week or two. Which means from time of payout request it will have taken roughly two months to receive my money. I doubt I will be depositing more money onto this site now that I know it takes so long to receive it..

Hello all,
I just found this forum/thread and registered so I could share my opinion with everyone. I'm a US player and was pretty happy to find Lock Poker back in May, specifically because I really enjoy playing the heads-up hyper turbo games. Over the span of May/June/July/August/Sept I made A LOT of relatively small deposits on my visa card, probably 3 or 4 thousand in total. And with those deposits, you pay a transaction fee and of course, also, whatever interest rate my credit card accounts are charging me...fortunately, some of those deposits I made on my Visa Debit card.

Last weekend I had a nice run and got my account up to $5300. That's when I found out how the cashouts work. First, the maximum I could request via the check by courier option was $3000. I didn't know there was a limit of course, because none of this information is listed on their website. Then through email communications with support (at least they were honest), they said processing will take 5-6 weeks. Meanwhile, when you do request a cashout, you don't hear anything at all from them. Not even an email confirming your cashout, or any request to verify my personal information, my mailing address, etc. etc. Basically, you have no idea what's going on.

Over the course of the past week, I cancelled my cashout and pretty much flushed my account down the toilet playing poker and the online casino for these reasons:
1. Why in the world would it take 5-6 weeks to process a cashout?
2. What guarantee do I have that they will actually even send me a check?
3. What recourse do I have if they never send it?
4. The fact that there is really no direct communication with the cashier department at all; everything goes through the frontline support email staff

As a US player I just wanted to share my experience and frustration. For many years, I used to play on pokerstars where my deposits were made via eCheck, directly from my bank account and cashouts were processed immediately. Whenever I cashed out funds from PokerStars, generally the money was literally in my bank account within 2 business days!

It's really too bad what happened to us here in the U.S., I know there's a lot of people like me who enjoy playing online poker, and this hobby basically came to an end for us. For anyone who is considering playing at one of these sites that are accepting US players these days: my own personal opinion is STAY AWAY !!! Run, as fast as you can, to a local casino or a home game if you want to get your Texas Hold'em fix.

In many ways, I do blame myself because I really didn't do any research at all about Lock Poker until after I won some money. To be fair, I should have asked them up-front about the cashout process or just spent some time researching online. But I didn't, I was all too happy making credit card deposits week after week just because I was so happy to be playing poker again ;)

As far as asking LP to cancel my $3000 cashout, and flushing that money in a bout of anger/frustration, maybe that was a bad call on my part. I mean, if a $3000 check was actually going to show up in my mailbox 2 months from now, that would've been nice. But the general lack of communication with this company, the lack of transparency, and the totally absurd waiting period - I really don't regret what I did. It was a little childish and emotional, I know, but who needs this sort of nonsense? I'll never play there again.

If you read this and you decide to put your money into Lock Poker, let's just say I hope you have a much better experience than I did :D

lock poker sucks. on 9/10/12 i emailed lock poker support and asked what the min to cash out using check by courier was and i was told it was $250. On 9/11/12 i tried to withdraw $250 and received a error message that the min was $650. On 9/14/12 i cashed out $650 by check by courier. I tried to make another deposit and found out that you cannot make a deposit while you have a pending cash out. I emailed lock poker on 9/26 to see if they could tell me if my withdraw had been processed yet and i the email i received just said it will be take 4-5 weeks. On 10/9 i emailed them again to see if what the status of my check was because i still hadn't received an update, i asked if the check is still showing the status of "requested" or "under review" and lock poker responded "we have no update on your pending cash out.

does anyone one know if there is a way i can see the status of my check myself from the site. I looked under history and cashier.

Same Issue

its been 17 days (september 25th) since I cash out min. $120 they took of cause 10% for that and leaves me with $108 from western Union. Still no confirmation about the check and today I wrote an email to them and they gave me same f$%$#%#$% answer over and over again.

"Once a Western Union payout has been submitted, we will process this within around 7-14 business days. Once done, you will be sent a confirmation email that includes your Confirmation Number and Name of the Sender. Please take this, along with photo ID to your local Western Union branch and they will release the funds to you.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance."

I wonder how hard it is for somebody on Lock's staff to process a WU wd and email somebody the code. I've sent and received money via WU and MoneyGram and it only took me 5 minutes.

In the US it takes about 2 months start to finish to receive the check. I had no problems getting mine and expected it to take about that after a small google search so knew I didn't need to be sending emails and being paranoid.
I know others who have successfully received their checks too, again takes about 2 months. I have a friend who did the WU it took about 3 weeks.
I have no idea on the moneygram process.

Lock Poker Withdrawl

I requested a pay out over 3 months ago. I understand it takes a while but 3 months is ridiculous. I can deposit with no problem and ever time I ask support whats going on they never have an answer. Very disappointing considering the poker program is great and has a lot of players. I am 100% switching sites it's pointless to play online if you can't even cash out, what a scam.

Sorry to hear this a thanks for info. Nice of you to inform others also. Players should read these and not play there. Any site like this should have all players go else where and shut them down. No site should operate if there gonna toy with peoples money. Sad world we live in. Im sure they already collected interest on this money and now give you the run around. They should be thankful but this corrupt world gets way with the sickest crap. Hope you get your money soon and keep every1 posted on this. People need to stay away from lock and let them suffer.

Welcome to the club man!

Yeah, it’s ridiculous but being in Canada you actually have an advantage. The check you will eventually get from Lock will be Canadian. Apparently Canada uses 7 digits for routing numbers on checks and the US uses 8 digits. So in the US, when you do finally get your Lock check in the mail, then you have to wait another 6 weeks for it to clear your bank because they have to snail mail it back to Canada and make sure that its’ good.

It took me a solid 3 months to actually get the funds! Good times!

This is a Western Union withdrawal, I did do the check a few months ago, took 8-9 weeks to receive it, but the bank only took 4 days to clear it, which was nice.

This was my favorite part of their reply to my inquiry:
Unfortunately, we do not have any further information on your withdrawal at this time. Please be assured that we are equally frustrated by the delays experienced

It's always nice to fly off the handle, and have your account locked down. Vs posting on a few sites asking for help on it.

I was told yesterday by a source that LOCK will no longer payout, but they are still accepting as many deposits as possible before closing the doors. This was a huge hit and run operation!

I don't see why it takes so long to send us a check. It really discourages people from playing at there sites.

I've read on multiple forums that people have been waiting for payouts since January. Both US and the rest of the world.

Lock Poker Frustration

My 1/27/13 payout is still in "verified" status since 2/13/13. Hopefully I will get my first withdrawal from this site sometime before summer. SMH... It amazes me how long it is taking for a WU withdrawal. What do these people do, throw your withdrawal amount into a 6-month CD, cash it out and then send you your cash out???

Now I know it takes forever to get a lock withdrawal, if you can even get one. But I just want to know if you can request a withdrawal if you have not deposited to Lock.
