I requested a payout after I hit two jackpots in the casino, I started with $100 and got up too $700, I then requested a payout of $530 and kept the other $200 in my balance.

You don't have to read the spoiler, it just bout how fast I got my check, and a deposit attempt from my bank's App.

It was 5am (Wednesday) at this point, and soon got an email that it was being processed. Then soon after got my FedEx tracking number, got the check the next day but missed it so they come back today. (I didn't expect it this soon, but hey I'm happy.)

I will be happier if I could just get this into my account.

I want to deposit to the ATM soon before I try with a teller, but I have Chase so the ATM might not work since it's from Canada. I also have to wait for my new PIN that should be coming soon, so the ATM will have to wait. (I already tried the Chase APP, and it said it doesn't accept foreign checks. )

My question is will the bank say anything to me? I'm 18 attending college, and this will be my first check, it's just a new experience for me so I'm nervous.

It's a $530.40 check so it's not like anything I should be worrying about right?

It depends on the bank, I know my bank is really anal about it for some reason. I believe the bigger the chain the less questions you will receive.

Hopefully not :p

but if they do ask questions, like where I got this check. What do I say? Should I say I sold something online?

They shouldn't be asking anyways right?

If its got your name on it I doubt they will ask anything, Just say the name of the company on the check..

You will be fine don't worry

If it were me, not doing a thing like anyone else, I would go to a check cashing joint. Pay the fee, and wait till it clears. After it clears once, they pay right off on future checks.

And it helps to insulate your bank account from your winnings.

Hmm, I'll try this after the bank..

But Bovada says not to cash it, only to deposit to my bank account.

Okay, cool. I'll first try the ATM once I get my new PIN which should be coming the following week and if that doesn't work I'll go inside the bank.

You are an internet consultant and your client is in canada ... Problem Solved! lol

Try and stick to the ATM deposits and depending on which bank you are a member of is the check clearing time ... TD cleared mine over night / PNC is giving me a run around now ...

Congrats!

I am assuming that this went fine for you since you haven't reposted.

If you still have not gone, I would chime in that I once was asked (when I was also in college) about one of my bodog cash outs. A simple response is that it is a payroll check for an internship. They didn't ask any more questions, and the amount being under $1,000.00 doesn't cause any teller to press the issue. Of all the times I deposited, I was only ever asked that one time... Just have a quick response and go from there.

Unless the check is over $10,000.00 in which case the bank has to report the deposit to the I.R.S. (I'm almost certain of this) than it's really none of their business where your money comes from. We've lost so much of our freedom that we now assume that we need to answer to everyone. I don't ask my bankers personal questions and I don't expect them to ask me personal questions. They should simply process it and if there's a problem after that, notify you. If they did ask me where my money came from I might ask them what it says on the check or come right out and tell them that it's none of their business. I don't suppose that they have to cash it or process it but if they don't, someone else will.

I haven't went yet, I was waiting for my new PIN to come. I got it yesterday, tried to deposit it at a near by ATM but it rejected it since it's not from U.S.A.

I'm thinking of going to the branch today or tomorrow.

Will the internship response work? I mean the check is coming from Canada so? Sorry for my ignorance, never had a internship before.

Yes, it shouldn't be none of their business. Hopefully they don't ask me anything. Idk, why I'm so nervous to just deposit it already.

Not sure if I will try the internet consultant, for some reason I don't vibe with it. :p

Tried ATM, Chase doesn't accept checks from out of the U.S.A.

Thank you. I also made $870 from a 4 team parlay, could've won $2880, but the Golden state lost to the Clippers on the 21st . Good think I betted on both teams. I wanted that 2k tho. I only risked $50 on both bets :D

I'm happy with the 1k in my account right now.

Glad it went well , if your bank has an express deposit box just fill out a slip and drop it in , no questions that way either.
