The past month has been great for U.S. payment processing overall. Two poker rooms made nice moves up, a newer room in our survey dropped a bit, and the top and bottom stayed virtually the same. Hopefully this trend continues. Here is the June US Payment Processing Report to use as a reference. Last month's grades are in parenthesis.

Americas Cardroom/True Poker A (A)

Americas Cardroom and True Poker continue to impress U.S. players with their quick cashout speeds. This makes seven months in a row that this Winning Poker Network pair received an A- or better. Considering the payment processing challenges in the U.S. this group deserves special recognition. The debit card issues appear to be resolved for most players. These payments arrive in about two business days once the player has a card in their possession. Cash transfers arrive in about two days also. Cash transfers carry a fee of $60-$110. Checks are arriving in 1-2 weeks by courier.

Intertops A (A+)

intertops ties for first place this month. Bank wires were a bit slower this month. Also, due to the grading curve and improvement by other rooms, Intertops incredible payout speeds were not as comparatively great. I should also note that Intertops no longer accepts new players from the U.S. I placed them below ACR/True Poker for this reason even though Intertops is still a great option for players that already had an account before the restriction on new U.S. players.

Intertops offers players a reloadable debit card that is credited in 2-3 days. Players must request a debit card before requesting cashouts to it. The arrival of the debit card can take about three weeks and carries a $35 fee. Bank wires take 2-3 weeks to arrive. The fee for bank wires is $50 in addition to what the player's bank charges to receive the wire. Cash transfers arrive in 2-3 days. The fee for a cash transfer is $70-$180 depending on its size.

Merge Gaming B+ (B-)

It looks like great things are happening with Merge Gaming's main cashier that banks skins such as Carbon Poker, Aced, and Black Chip Poker. More players are reporting the ability to cash out by cash transfer. These transfers have a $30 fee and a maximum transfer of $900. Cash transfers arrive in 1-2 days. Some players are even reporting that they received their cash transfer the same day that they requested it. The monthly maximum for cash transfers is $4000. Check speeds are improving as they now arrive in 3-5 weeks. It seems like that time is going down too. Could Merge Gaming make it into the A range for the first time next month?

bodog/Bovada C+ (C-)

I must admit that Bodog's U.S. facing brand Bovada was starting to make me wonder after so many months of issues. Then out of nowhere, Bodog seemed to have cleared their queue to a reasonable level. It probably helps that this is the worst time of the year for U.S. facing sports book as baseball is in mid season and no other major sports are in season. This causes lower volume for books. Bovada processed checks in 5-8 weeks during the past month but the latest checks seem to be on the lower end of that range. That makes me feel that the outlook is positive for Bovada checks. Players that have the option of Rapid Transfer or Cash Transfer receive these in 2-4 days with fees of $40-$150. Bank wires are arriving in about a month. It seems bank wires arrive in euros so U.S. players may have to pay a currency conversion.

Lock Poker C- (B-)

I do not typically use support issues to help grade payment processing but I feel that the issues Lock Poker has with player support are contributing to their payment processing problems. Lock Poker took on a large challenge when they left Merge Gaming and created Revolution Gaming. The growing pains are still showing 6 weeks later. Cash transfers can be requested up to $2000. Cash transfers arrive in 1-2 weeks. There seem to be issues with checks right now. The latest reports show a range of 4-7 weeks although it seems that currently they are on the higher end of that range. Players receive two free cashouts per month.

Cake Poker D- (D-)

Cake Poker is once again at the bottom of the U.S. online poker payment processing report. Check requests are accepted for $500-$3000. Checks arrive in 4-5 months. There is no fee on checks. While they are also on the Revolution Gaming Network, they do not use the same cashier system that Lock Poker uses.

Our first U.S. online poker payment processing report was posted in August 2011. This gives us a year's worth of data. We will post an analysis of this data between now and the August report.
