Hi everybody! I believe this is my first post here. I'll make it as detailed as possible (don't worry will be a tldr at bottom!). If you have any helpful suggestions, I'm all ears.
To my knowledge, (and this comes from their customer service), the only methods for depositing onto carbon poker are either through visa debit/credit, or cash transfer through moneygram or western union.
Attempted to make a deposit with my credit card. Gets rejected because it's a master card. I purchased a prepaid Visa (greendot). Attempted to make a deposit through it, was given an insufficient funds/not enough credit error. I realized greendot has a monthly user fee and guessed they probably won't let me drain my account entirely, so I can pay said fee. Added more money to the card, waited long enough for the money to reflect in my account, and attempted to deposit again. Still getting the insufficient funds error. Spoke with greendot customer service who confirmed that my funds are available for use. Spoke with carbon customer service who suggested I use MG or WU.
Attempted to make a moneygram transfer. Account was flagged due to location and was asked to customer service to complete transaction. Called customer service. Was asked what I was sending the money for. Like a noob, I told them to play online poker. They cancelled the transaction. Spoke with carbon customer service, who gave me a new money transfer receiver name, and I attempted to send money via western union. Western Union immediately cancelled the transaction. Spoke with customer service again, who is at a loss for how I can get money into the account.
Conclusion and possible solutions: Perhaps carbon only allows one insufficient funds rejection a day, and I will be able to deposit tomorrow. Perhaps greendot has flagged carbon's information and will always send carbon an insufficient funds error from their visas. Perhaps MG and WU share their flagged customer information. Possible solutions: 1. Wait a day and try my visa again. 2. Purchase visa gift cards from several different vendors, hoping one of them will work. 3. Call Western Union and try to persuade them into believing that I know my cash transfer receiver. 4. Win a freeroll tourney so I don't have to get cash into my account.
tl;dr Tried to deposit money into Carbon using multiple cards, Western Union, and Moneygram. All transactions were cancelled or denied. Have no idea how to get money into my Carbon account.
Thanks for reading!
