Because I never have and I've been in this game for over 12 years now, and have been on 2+2 with a fairly big following for over 11 years. I've seen and read a lot of forums posts. The only people I've ever heard claim this were running a scam, or got a bad check post black friday. Duhhh... this has happened on all sites in this new environment, and it's happened to me at Bovada too. But instead of crying on a forum saying I was scammed (like the above), I calmly called Bovada and they issued me another check which cashed w/o issue. And I've cashed over 40+ checks in that time as well.
Most importantly, I work with A LOT of people and customers in this industry on a daily basis. I know how customers over react, post a bunch of comments because they are pissed, but then their issue gets resolved, and you never see the resolution. These are the same/similar kind of people swearing up and down that X/Y site is rigged.
Bovada is the largest online sports book in the world. They didn't get that way and take the volume of bets that they do by ripping people off.
Your OP post is the prototypical case in point to the T. You didn't understand the climate you were in, you did things completely wrong, and because of the DOJ and you're lack of understanding the climate, you're saying Bovada ripped you off. It's disingenuous to put it kindly. I am sorry you had an issue, but you went about it, and the resolution completely wrong. That's not Bovada's fault, that's the U.S. governments and yours.
