I requested a check withdraw Jan. 1st. On the 15th it was approved after 2 forms of I.D. and a utility bill. I got the check today the 30th. I deposited the check in the bank...

BUT I lost 20% in the exchange from CAD to USD.

Not cool.

better not to play there anymore. Those kind of payouts are just for kepping money ,,your money in theire wallet'' otherwise they can't prove that is a profit business and legit. It's working like a bank.

I play at Ignition now and I'm not too excited to hear this. I'm also curious as to if anyone else has had this sort of issue when withdrawing?

I have cashed out several times over the last couple months. I stopped getting checks once bitcoin became an option. Went from 2 to 3 weeks for a check. To 24 to 36 hours into my bitcoin wallet. Yes there are fees and they are higher than they have been.

If your into bonuses on ignition when cashing, cash out 99% n redeposit with bitcoin.

I started an earlier thread on this. You can check it out on the second page of posts. I was sent a 600 dollar canadian check by ignition, and a week after I already deposited it into my bank ignition contacted me and said the check was no good due to a "printing error" on the check which I knew was BS. Anyway, I did end up getting paid through bitcoin instead, but the whole hassle took a month. Well, the check finally made its way back to my bank couple days ago with a letter inside that said the bank in which it was sent had its funds seized. So, this just validates my knowledge of them lying. Don't gamble online people, it's not worth it. You are dealing with people who are knowingly breaking the law. Do you really think they have your best interest at heart. Yes, bitcoin may be discreet and faster and all that, but it's not as secure as you'd like to believe. Just recently they had over half a billion of crypto hacked and stolen over in asia. Just save your money and go to a real casino. Just my 2 cents. Oh yeah, just one more bit of info that I discovered about bitcoin wallets. It is illegal for most if not all of them to facilitate gambling transactions, so if they find out you are using it for gambling purposes they can you lock you out of your account, and you now have a whole different set of exciting circumstances to deal with. Just something to think about.

Glad everything worked out freestocks! My most recent hassle was the first issue i've run into in 15 years or more of online gambling, so I guess I should consider myself lucky, lol. The whole issue I have with it is that element of always having to wonder if the check will be good, or if I use bitcoin will it be secure or lost in cyberspace and unable to recover. To me it's not worth the stress. When I first started gambling online pokerstars and full tilt had literally just been born, and getting paid was relatively easy, and I quickly became addicted to it. Over time it has been harder and harder for people in the united states to get a secure hassle free experience in the online gaming world. Will I gamble online again when they get licensed and regulated here in the US?, absolutely, lol. People in the US have to resort to going underground and dealing with shady situations, and that's unfortunate. Good luck and may your stacks stay fat!

Just to clarify a few of your statements. It is NOT ILLEGAL to use a personal bitcoin wallet ( Blockchain, Mycelium, Electrum) for gambling purposes. Wallets connected to an exchange is what you're referring to. And true, one's account could be closed for gambling connected activity. But, your funds will be returned to you, just as if a bank closed your account, and made your funds available to you. They may no longer want your business, but, can't take your money.

Withdraw

I have withdrawn money 4 times in the last 3 months from ignition using bitcoin. Each time I received money in 1 or 2 days. I've never tried to receive a check or any other payment form. It might be a hassle to setup bitcoin but its well worth it. Also double check/triple check that u are putting in correct bitcoin address. I've heard u can lose your money this way. Last,if u are not into taking risks, make sure to sell your bitcoin as soon as you receive it. I lost 8% just by sitting on it for a day. All u have to do is click a couple buttons to sell it! I couldn't see withdrawing $ any other way!

Moral of the story, don't use checks anymore. Use bitcoin. Still amazed that people request checks on US sites post black friday.

Ignition Checks

I just received my first check from Ignition today. Has anyone had any problems trying to deposit them with BOA, before I walk in the bank and incur any unnecessary headaches? And what would be better, teller or ATM?

ATM. But again... I'd avoid doing checks today. Just get bitcoin, get setup. It's sooo much easier and quicker.

I just use bitcoin to withdraw from there. Most sites are best for bitcoin and it is easier to use than you think if you have never used it.

Tried to deposit an ignition check yesterday, the ATM would not take it so I went to the teller. Woke up this morning locked out of my bank account for reasons pertaining to that check. STAY AWAY from Ignition Checks! They are not worth the hassle and headache!

This should not happen. The best bank I found that deposits the checks without any hassle is wells fargo. no fees or anything.

Good Luck!

Post black Friday, you shouldn't be asking for paper checks... and if you are, be aware that these have to be funneled through payment processors, that the US government can and does shut down occasionally. It's not Ignition's fault, it's the government's random position on online poker. Just don't use paper checks. There's really no reason to today.
