Ignition to Bitpay Card

Hello. I just ordered a BitPay card and plan to ditch Coinbase (ignition > Blockchain > Coinbase > bank). I saw in a post from Jan. 2018 seems Ignition > BitPay card works. I was wondering does that still work playing on Ignition or does it have to be Ignition > Blockchain > BitPay card ? Thanks.

Good question... I'm pretty sure it should work straight to the bitpay card, but I'd ask ignition directly. Maybe someone else can chime in.

You can only load a bitpay card from wallets that are enabled with the "protocols" bitpay uses. Blockchain doesn't have them. Mycelium and Electrum are wallets that do. You should never go directly to/from gambling site/exchange or bitpay card. A middle- buffer- wallet should always be used. This will lessen the possibility of the exchange closing your account due to sending/receiving funds to/from a gambling site. Last week a bitpay card was cancelled due to sending funds directly to a gambling site.
