After 5 months and at least 8 emails back and forth, I have gotten the money I withdrew from Walkerpoker. They claim that the cashier department has been revamped and replaced by a new "outside" department.
For the inconvenience, I was given a coupon for the $109,
$50000 guarantee on Sunday. wouldn't that be sweet to take that down:cool:

As of January 1st, WalkerPoker has been moved to a new ownership and management. Our experienced team bought the Poker room from the previous owners and as part of the agreement, the new management agreed to take care of all the old debts of players.

I would like to personally apologize in person for the delay with your withdraw and can assure that it will never happen again, as all processing is now being handled by Merge Gaming.

I took all of my money off Walker about 9 months ago because of all of the problems with it, even though I used to really like it compared to some other Merge sites, but it will take some recommendations from quite a few people before I put money back on there. I just really didn't like the way they were handling their business.

BTW... congrats on getting your money out and gettin the $109 coupon. Fill that account back up with that win ;)

good for you nats, and welcome danny, i have a walker acct that i started early in my online playing, after reading all the horror stories, i havent played there much. i hope i continue to read good things about them. good luck to you danny

I heard that the owners changed the walker. and the problems NO . I have heard a friend who plays Cash MTT SNG on Walker and Walker had no problems but now I know not to put more than $ 500 a day.

Well a while ago I was told by Walker that they would make good on the money they owed me from back in August 2009. They did replace my money in my account and gave me a coupon for the $50k guarantee on Sundays. I went to use the coupon and it seems it doesn't exist. WHAT A SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I was beginning to believe in the integrity of Walker, so much for that. Beware...............I guess I will try to get the rest of my money out of there, wish me luck.

Hey George,

I will be honest here. I posted my replay and personal email on the forum to help solve problems of players under the old management. I got your email and saw that support issued you a coupon to the satellite of the $50,000 guaranteed instead of the actual tourney. This is of course an honest mistake and not done on purpose.

Now, after I saw your email, I've credited your account with $109 real money to play in the tourney or play in the ring tables. Of course you can't withdraw it right away. But, then I went and saw your post in the forum about us. I'm sure that like you emailed me in person and like I replied to the problem and took care of it in person, you could have emailed me and say "Hey, I didn't get the coupon, can you please have a look and help me sort it out". I would have helped and sort the issue, same way we sorted all other issues for players and I don't think you will find any WalkerPoker player who has a problem with a withdraw or anything else which isn't being taken care of. Our team is checking the players on a daily basis, 12 hours a day to make sure nothing goes wrong. Mistakes like the coupon entry happen but going over the forum and posting what you just did is not the way to act and solve such a problem. We are doing our best to fix the bad name the old management gave to Walker and I think we have proven ourselves so far.

Just to clarify, your deposit and rake are less then the compensation you got and it shows our good intentions in building WalkerPoker up and make sure people trust the name and the people behind it.

I am sitting here with EGG on my face!!!!!!!! I hastily posted this before contacting Walker. I got in touch with Danny at Walker and he has once again come through with EXCELLENT customer service.
I would like to take this opportunity to Thank Danny and Walker for his prompt response , and also apologize for my rant without giving Danny the courtesy of a communication to help me with this. I have once again been shown to GOOD side of people.

after reading dannys first thread and him responding to me, he offered a 10 dollar welcome back deposit in my account,which i have recieved and played on a couple times. i also decide to test the waters and put in a withdraw request for a $100. i recieved the money in my e-wallet in less than 48 hrs. thank you danny, your doing a great job restoring at least my faith in walker poker
