I know there is a thread regarding this topic so feel free to merge or move mods., I searched and could not find it.

Anyway, I was wondering what a good pre-paid credit card was to use for Full Tilt. I remember someone saying they bought a good one from CVS - I was wondering what the name brand of the card was.

Thanks!

All Access visa, you need to check the availability, I have heard CVS and Walgreens, the ones in my area do not have them.
But we have 2 gas station convenient stores that sell them.

Thanks for the info. Sorry I got it too late - I just bought a Vanilla pre-paid Visa from CVS - WARNING TO EVERYONE, IT DOES NOT WORK ON FULL TILT.

I'm on my way to return it right now, lol.

I made the same mistake and bought a vanilla once, those dont work. I used to use the all access ones but about 5 months ago fulltilt support didnt accept it for me anymore. So i registered it and everything and still nothing. I am going to try it again later today, hope it works......

Vanilla Mastercard

I just wanted to comment on Kasanova Kings warning about Vanilla credit cards, I have bought 4 and have used them all at full tilt poker, they work fine but there are a couple of things you should know. 1. You can't buy them and use them on the net 10 mins later, they need time to process, I usually wait about an hour and then they are good to go.
2. They have an access fee, so if you buy a $50 card they charge you $6 to scan and load it, I guess this is a way for the credit card company to make money, and you can't reload them, you have to keep buying new ones, that is unless you can play good poker ;)

Another problem is you can't find them at high amounts. If you want to deposit $200 it takes 4 cards, and the fee is way too high. but the stupid USA crap is forcing me in that direction.

Greendot Visa works on FTP. Can be bought at walgreen. cvs, rite aide and some convience stores. You have to purchase a card and pay a monthly maintence fee of 4.95 and load with a moneypack at an additional 4.95 per transaction. A better way is to use e-check by setting up a free checking account at a bank.

As a US player, I'm not having such luck -- tried the Mastercard Giftcard with FT : no dice. Also, after speaking with people at AP, they claim that Mastercards no longer works as of Saturday of last week (1/30).

That's too bad. My friend deposited on Fulltilt just two days ago with MastercardGiftCard (canada).
Try depositing in an uneven amount (sometimes cards are blocked when you try to make an even amount purchase as it's associated with online gaming sites.... << DoylesRoom informed me of this ~ a yr ago)

I'm a U.S. Player and just used the Visa GiftCard to make a deposit in bodog - worked fine. Just had to register my info online, waited about an hour, then was good to go. Got a $50 one for a $4.95 processing fee. They also have $100 for a $5.95 processing fee.

Not all Visa pre-pay cards work on full tilt... it's hit or miss. I recently got a rebate from McAfee (the internet security software) and it wouldn't work on tilt, but it worked on Bodog.

Just in time for me to lose $30 on the Colts...

All Access Visa works on most sites.. i know that green dot doesnt and some random gift cards dont work either. if you cant get an All Access Visa, might be best to ask the poker room as im sure they could help.

The best option that I have found to work and never be turned down, regardless of the site, is by going to a local bank. Ask the teller for a certified visa or mastercard gift card, that only banks issue.. I believe their fullproof... It has worked for me, for more than one site......From pokerhost to pokerstars to fulltilt and PDC...Well good luck on your ventures, stay tight and win right:ridinghor

This is very true, been using them last 6 months but now all the sudden they dont work on FT or PS. Makes one wonder if FT and PS have some deal with echecks.....hmmm

*The ones hes talking about have a picture of a present on the front of them, usually blue or gold depending on amt

I don't know about all access Visa cards, but the pre-paid ones work. My buddy just bought one yesterday (Mar 8, '10) and it worked fine. The stipulations given by (can't believe he's making me say this) Jackoff2AAs still apply.

Hey Orifice, what part of the Great White North you from anyways?

The All Access Visa from Netspend works for every site. The card cost $9.95 in NY. You can put as much as you want on it. Its reloadable, cost $2.00 to reload. I reload mine at check cashing store. Heard so gas station do it also. You can go to Netspend.com to order or find locations. They charge $1 per tranaction or you can pay a subscription fee. You need id because in 2 to 3 weeks they send you a card with your name. You can view your purchases online.

The Walmart Visa MoneyCard (different from the walmart visa gift card) works on every site and works the same way as the card your talking about. They don't charge per transaction, just $3/month and $3 to load.

You can also use it as an echeck for online payments and load direct deposits on it (for free). Pretty much just like having a bank account, except you don't get checks.

Oh and of course you don't can't withdraw, so no bs fees like bank charges.
