I was told that you have to make a deposit in order to get your money off your account. Does this apply to all poker sites or what? Do I have to make the deposit before i win a freeroll or can I just do it before i try to withdraw? Someone plz tell me the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Where each site is different, nearly all make you have a deposit on record before you withdraw. However....read the Terms & Conditions and find out! Many sites have a live chat customer support, toll free phone number, or at least an email.

If you manage to cash in a freeroll and try to withdraw, the poker site will definitely decline the request because you HAVE to make at least 1 deposit before withdrawing any amount of $$. If you cashed in a freeroll before you made your 1st deposit then you will have to play a certain number of raked hands to be able to withdraw your winnings.

This pretty much applied to every poker site i played at but you can check their terms and conditions like the previous poster said.

full tilt doesnt use such a rakeback, but pretty much every site will make you deposit, if you dont have a credit card or anything like that, you can generally send them a bill in your name and a drivers license/passport and they tend to accept that

i know exactly what u are saying...is real confusing....i have already deposited more then 400 buks already between pokerstars and fulltilt...and ive been getting completely dogged on....seriously..if is not one thing is another......one time bymistake i went to deposit 25 buks and ended up depositing 259 buks
it suks i tried to get it bak and it was a whole week and they still didnt allow me to withdrawl my money so i ended up playing it and loosing all of it...i was heateed.......

heh pokerkid150 before about 3months i was on same situation just i didnt deposited that much. i deposited about 30$ on pstars and in 1day playing 2$ sattlites wined two 216$ tickets and i couldnt withdraw it, i needed to wait some days, but i was so happy and losed all my money in those days

Yes, I guess that for almost every room, you need to make a deposit before being able to withdraw.
