Is it even possible to fund any sort of an account at any casino anywhere from the United States? Ever since the nanny-state passed that ridiculous law forbidding online gambling from the US, I have tried without success to find some way to gamble online. No credit card that I know of will allow the charge to go through. Some creative meathods I see, such as e-wallet, neteller, etc. do not recognize the US as a customer. Even paypal will not work. It seems like whichever way I turn, I am unable to do anything. I have even emailed some casinos and asked if they would accept a personnal check, but even if they waited for it to clear, I am not sure if my bank would honor it. It seems nobody is.

I don't agree with the law. I can drive to any number of casinos around me and bet the farm, but I can't gamble online? If I could find a casino that would take my money and allow me to fund an account, and if I could find a method that would work to do that, I would be happy. I would even be willing to send cash if that would be the only way, although I would send small amounts and check to see that it was credited before sending more. Unless I am missing something, I don't know of any other way. Hell, I don't beleive that I would even be able to fund an account at a casino in the US and play online!! How crazy is that?

I'm glad I found this forum. Perhaps I'll find out something I can do. I sure hope so. Thanks to all in advance.

There are still a few methods that work in the US. As Pooffy said, echeck (i.e. direct bank transfer, regardless of what they call it) is the quickest/easiest way to deposit/withdraw. Next would probably be an ewallet service like UseMyWallet that FT recently started offering to US players. PayPal has never (at least not in the past several years) allowed gambling transactions.

And unless it has changed in the past days/weeks, there's at least one gift card that some have reported success with. But these have dried up quickly as the UIGEA just recently went into full effect.

Personally, I've almost always used echeck. I haven't deposited to FT and PS in a long time but have withdrawn with echeck several times. I recently made small deposits via echeck to a couple of new sites in order to clear bonuses, and it was flawless as well.

You used to be able to mail paper checks to deposit as well, but I haven't heard of anyone doing that lately so don't know if it's still an option.

I'll try bodog. Thanks for the heads up. By the way, I stuck fifty small ones in ewalletexpress and am waiting to see the charge amount so I can verify. As soon as that happens, I should be able to put it in an account. Tempting to try craps, as that game has the best house odds and I can usually win with virtual money. Hmmmm....well, good gaming everyone!

Mortis, what is a freeroll? Do you mean to say you can earn cash in some way, or win cash, without putting anything up front first? Anxious to hear about this.

Most pokersites have a few public ones a day, usually the field is quite large.
Once you meet a post requirement here you can join the CardsChat private freerolls, linked above, with a much smaller field.

All Access Mastercard

All access mastercards are the last cards you can deposit with on many sites in the US, but they are very hard to find... Instead if you sign up for a re loadable one through netspend you can add money in many locations. And they still work on Stars and FT. If you go through the netspend referral process you get a free $20 on the card after you deposit your first $40. If anyone wants to email me at MPBrotherton@gmail.com I can put them through the referral system so you can get your free $20
