Hi All,

Am planning on doing my first deposit onto pokerstars tonight. Will load about $100 on and have a bit of a play till I find my way around the place. Any specific advice about making the first deposit?

Deposit more if you can afford it to make the most of the welcome bonus, although I think you can make up to 3 separate qualifying deposits towards your welcome bonus.

I am assuming you are in the UK from your avatar. Without a doubt the best way to deposit and withdraw on PS is by using neteller or Moneybookers. Deposits and withdrawings are pretty much instant. You can set up a Neteller account very quickly and you should be able transfer from your pre paid card. Good luck I hope you get it sorted.

Hi guys, i'm aware this threads a bit old, but hopefully i'll still get a response. Are there issues with using online poker sites (Pokerstars specifically) in Australia? Im in the UK at the moment but moving back home, Perth, next month and dont want to be unable to play online. Also, i've started a seperate thread already, but does anyone know whether the WAPL is worth checking out?
