So my uploaded ecoPayz verification documents were rejected because I had blurred out my Driver's License and my Bank Account numbers. I don't see how that information would be useful to them unless they actually have a way to verify them with government agencies and banking institutions. I am under the impression that all they do is check that the name and addresses match on the documents. :deal:

My concern is with Identity Theft and so I will not be sending them my Driver's License and my Bank Account numbers unless there is a valid reason for it. Am I being overly cautious on the matter? :frown:

Thanks for your input! :stupido:

I think they need your bank account number, how else are you going to deposit/withdraw money to/from ecopayz?

I don't plan to deposit/withdraw to and from my bank account through ecoPayz.

My intention is just to move money from one poker site to another with ecoPayz as it has very low withdrawal limits.
I have poker winnings from freerolls on almost a dozen different sites, the idea is to centralize them onto just 2 main sites that I prefer to play on. :D:eek:

It is always good to be sceptical and very careful when it comes to your money and idenitifcation with online sites these days. There are many scams out there.

As a general rule I always do research. I use google I search site name review and site name scam. I read them then make my decision on the information.

I have being using ecoPayz for over 3 years in my view they are legitamate. I have done many thousand dollars worth of transactions with them zero issues. I use them a lot to move money around PokerRooms mainly Party Stars and ACR.

As a general rule if you are using a credit card to verify an account and they ask you for a copy of it you can remove the four digits. I do not know if same applies to bank documentation.

If you decide to verify your ecoPayz account and use it often I can link you up with a free upgrade to gold vip it has many benefits including lower transaction fees and a small cashback on transactions. Feel free to give me a shout if interested.

Thanks for taking the time to write up such a detailed post! I will take your advice! :D:D

I guess I will be (begrudgingly) sending in my documents today and hopefully will be verified soon!

Since neteller and skrill don't allow depositing/withdrawing to gambling sites for Canadians, ecoPayz is really the only option. :dong::)

EDIT: About the free VIP upgrade offer, I hope you don't mean ewallet-optimizer because I'm already registered there.:eek:

Ecopayz is a reliable enough company to entrust their documents to them. Of course, you should not show the number and other details of your bank card - on this account everywhere there is a rule that allows you to hide this data. But it is better not to blur a photo (edit a photo is a bad idea), but simply when photographing, put something (a pen, a cigarette lighter or a coin) on top of the critical areas of your credit card. Edited photos will seem to them compromised.

That's a great tip that didn't even occur to me. Thanks for the advice! I've already submitted my documents but I will be sure to remember it for the future!! :D:D:D

Help!

im new here.freaking out because I am trying to withdraw a huge win from a casino from my ecopayz account. Was expecting it tomorrow but now I have an email saying they need to verify my identity and my account is locked until they get it. They say not to reply to the email but don't tell me how to upload documents. Is this a scam??? It's over 16,500 can someone advise me?

Yes it is ewallet-optimizer I was reffering to. I have been with them over 2 years I have had great service from them. When I first started off they helped me a lot by doing free Neteller to ecoPayz swap. Most Poker rooms did not have ecoPayz integrated at that time.

They have also helped sort out a few issues related to Neteller/Skrill. They work faster and gives you a lot easier to undserstand answers than Neteller/Skrill help

You may not like this but inorder to get upgraded to gold vip ecoPayz account you will have to send them the exact same documentation you used for ecoPayz verifications.

It is worth it for the cashback. I get a few free bucks every month.

It is worth it if you have ecoPayz mastercard as well the lower fees makes a difference there.

If you are just moving money around Poker Rooms and casinos the reductions in fees does not apply as deposit and withdrawal are free.

Best of luck.

I use a little piece of regular paper and color it with a marker to block out the digits.

You are correct it should not be done digitally as it would look like the document was tampered with and could raise many unneccearry questions.

This Post looks fishy to say the least.

You are able to conduct transactions up to the accumulated value $100 USD after that limit is reached you must verifiy your account to continue. Your funds are safe and it will be accessible to you once you complete the verification process. I had similiar happen to me with Neteller a long time ago.

The fastest way to get a response is to login to your ecoPayz account and use the live help on bottom left of page.

Or email either of the following from your email address your registered ecoPayz email.
