I was wondering about this. It pops up every time I go into the cashier. December 3rd through the 17th, 50% bonus...yada yada. Direct linking to bank account, but from what I can tell, you can't use it to withdraw funds, only to deposit.

$100 max for the first e-check; 50% bonus only for first use. Therefore, $50 max bonus. Still, nice bonus.

My paytru would be my way to withdraw. Nice to deposit with no fees. Fees to withdraw with paytru a good problem. At least they don't get me both ways.

How long did it take? I sent in a request about an hour ago and still haven't gotten the funds. It said instant. They haven't taken anything out of my bank account so I'm not worried about that, just wondering. I sent pokerstars support an email asking about it.

Took me about 10 seconds. I know your credit history with pokerstars would be reviewed. Did you ever have a problem their before?

Let me see if I understand this. You have to give E-Checks electronic access to your bank account...savings account, I assume? If that's the case, ain't no way I'm going to use E-Checks. NO ONE gets electronic access to my savings and checking account numbers. Credit cards are OK, as any loss is insured beyond the first $50. Maybe it's because I am the son of a Banker, maybe it's because I've taught Criminology for 35 years, or maybe it's because I am getting old, but the potential for hacking and identity theft is just too great to allow my bank account numbers to be used by anyone but me!

Since PokerSatrs is now accepting US postal Money Orders (that are negotiable beyond the US), that's how I intend to make my next deposit. Plus, by using a US Postal Money Order, it's a way to symbolically "stick it" to Uncle Sam for the UIEGA!

Seriously isn't that just a bit paranoid? You know you give out your bank account number every time you write a check, right? Anyone could create a physical check with your account number on it rather easily, so electronic access is actually probably more difficult to obtain. Your bank should have the same or better safeguards as a credit card regarding any unauthorized withdrawals.

^^^^^ Credit card companies are effectively banks making short term loans.

Aliengenius: I agree regarding giving out my checking account number every time I write a check. But, I seldom keep more than a couple hundred in my checking account at one time. My savings account is another matter. I have heard that some folks will open a second savings account and only use it for online payments...and maybe this is the way to go if one were to use E-Checks. But, I guess I would rather be a little paranoid than spending months trying to get my money back from someone fraudulently accessing my savings.

If you can't tell, yes, I am a tight player...sometimes too tight. LOL!

Wow, mine went through without a hitch too. Not sure how long it took, but when I check on it 15 minutes after I tried it, the money had already been deposited.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have some bonus whoring to clear.

You can cash out with a regular check. they will send it right to your address on Pokerstars. Also, how long does it take for the E-check amount to actually be taken out of my checking account

I don't think so. FWIW checks are the best way to withdraw.

I heard that after you deposit an e-check and your bank is verified you can withdraw back to the bank that you deposited from.

I have a personal checking account set up just for online gaming, and anything else I may do online. When a big transaction gets involved, it's usually completed or withdrawn in less then 24 hours. Usually maintain no more then a $2500.00 balance.

What you can do is go to commerce WaMu or any other bank that offers free checking and use that account only for poker with drawls.
Put $5 when you open it and then when you make money playing poker u send it to that account and go and take the money out as soon soon as it is deposited.
Since you are not leaving any money sitting for a long period of time you don't have to worry about anyone helping them selfs to your money

no. as far as i know, epassporte is like one of those online wallet things. a middle man between the poker site and your bank account. and i believe there are fees to withdraw. e-checks work like a check to send the money electronically and directly from your account
