Does this happen to you too?

When I visit the bank to cash a cheque from poker winnings sometimes the teller will question me where and what it is from and twice they took the cheque to a manager and after some discussion they came back and processed it. I find it really annoying that they constantly do this it is becoming a chore to go in there! The cheques have successfully processed every time so why do they continue to quiz me. Anyone else dealing with similar situations? I Imagine the US banks are even worse to deal with.

When I was getting cheques it happened to me too.
It has to do with which bank it is written on.
Usually ones from small regional banks are scrutinized more carefully.
Only place I have gotten a cheque from recently was 888 and it was from a Canadian clearing house and it was fine.

Yeah it's abit of a pain, the best cashout options are bank transfers!
