I deposited 10$ on ber365 from skrill...no one asked me for any documents or anything, and now i want to take money and they ask for documents...is it the same on pokerstars?? It is not a problem, but it is litlle bit anoying...when you deposit they don't care just want your money, but when you earn it then they need confirmations!!

almost all sites asking for documents... you should check for it before you added money to your account... but it's not suppose to be a problem to confirm all the things i think...

Photo ID and a utility bill showing your name and address within the last 3 months typically.

Can someone please explain this to me? I've made several deposits and withdrawals on PokerStars and have never once been asked to upload documents. Is it only American players that need to prove their identity?

Hiya Matthew. I have experienced this from different sites, although I'm from the UK. I think they pick peeps at random, and not necessarily on their 1st deposit or withdrawl ~ strange I know.

I recently joined "Betsafe" Poker Black and they asked for ID as soon as I joined, then made it hard for me to upload a copy of my passport, not through their poker site, but via their web page ~ weird?

I guess they all do it randomly, just to prove they are trying to stop money laundering ~ Working in the insurance industry for 10 years, I'll tell you it will never happen !!!

It is advisable for you to verified your account first before proceeding to make any deposit thus avoiding any withdrawal problem in the future.

Okay thanks for clearing that up. Hopefully I don't have to go through this anytime soon because I don't pay utilities, I don't own a scanner, my computer skills suck and I'd probably be confused by the whole practical aspect of sending documents to them haha.

Just be cautious if you have paired account with Fulltilt and constantly making transfer between these site because Full tilt have stricter rule than Pokerstar.
