Do Canadian banks accept checks from PokerStars?

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has had any difficulty with being unable to cash checks that are sent from pokerstars. I know the Canadians aren't really in rough shape with the whole online poker blackout or whatever it was, but I have heard stories of TD Bank refusing to cash cheques sent from poker stars or gambling related websites.

Is this true?

I have never had a bank reject a check from PokerStars. I've used 2 different credit unions, ScotiaBank and TD. Never a problem.

Do Canadian banks handle real money? Sorry, with the ban I don't get to rag on my Canadian friends much anymore.

Have you seen any of the new $100 bills here? (I'm guessing it's doubtful as they haven't been out for too long). They are made of plastic & have a clear, see-through pane in them. $50's are next & then the rest will follow. 'Indestructable' funny money now (great for board games for the kids!)

I've used that bank for years with Stars checks and never had a single issue. Switched to e-checks now though. A lot easier.
