I have a large amount of disposable income and I would like to deposit a large amount to play online. Is there any way to deposit a large amount on money of FullTilt. If not, are there sites that allow large deposits . . . thanks

Full Tilt allows $600 in a 24hr period, $1500 in a 7 day and, $2000 in a 30 day period you can request higher deposit limits though.

pokerstars is a $600 limit for Echecks, visa, master card, diners club and western union. A $2500 limit in 24hrs for cashiers checks. And $1,000,000 limit on bank wire transfers.

I'm sure they have ways of transferring larger sums. Isildur showed up with a lot more than $20k, and I guarantee he didn't do it by depositing $2k a month for years.

I would call them. You can probably Western Union them more if you make prior arrangements, or arrange a larger bank transfer of some sort.

Their big concern is to make sure that the funds are really yours. They don't some schmoe to rob a bank and dump the money online because they might have to give it all back, and pay for Schmoe's losses out of their own pockets.

Also, I suggest taking it slow online. You might play 5/10 at your local casino. But if you do that online and you aren't ready, you'll be broke before you know it.

Online and Live are two different games!!!

I belive full tilt allows just a $600 inital deposit and i also belive they have a cap on the amount you can deposit monthly.Obviously you know how to play because you are speaking of large amounts but i can't help wondering why you would want to deposit(large amounts)other than to buy in a large tourny?

+1 on this ^, I would take it easy starting out online (there's a comparison many make between live & online..... $1/2 live is roughly comparable to 10nl online ($0.05/0.10).
