I am interested in playing online poker in the US.

The problem I am having is choosing a website. I have been looking through these forums, but it seems that everyone says different.

From what I understand pokerstars is the best site, and an easy way to deposit money is with a visa All Access card.

The question I have about that is: How do you withdraw money if no personal information is on the All Access card? Or is there? Or is the money you withdraw put back onto the Visa All Access card?

Also, I understand that bodog might accept my Visa card, but it will take 1-2 months for a withdrawal check.

Please help, I'm very confused.

I'm leaning towards Pokerstars, I just want to know how to withdraw money if I use a Visa All Access card.

As far as I know they will send you a check, you could email support and ask them. I also think their check will reach you faster than bodog's.

You'll have to prove you are who you say you are to withdrawal. They'll expect a valid driver's license and current utility bill to be faxed/emailed to them before they'll send you your 1st check.

Ok, I just don't want to go out and buy an all access card, use it on Pokerstars, and find out I can't withdraw the money.

I have no problem faxing over my proof of ID.

You can also use eChecks to deposit if you want at Pokerstars. Its instant and will grab the money right out of your bank account.

If I use my visa card on Bodog, will I need to send in proof of ID?

If it works, not for the deposit, but definitely for the withdraw. I believe almost all sites require that.

At some point you will need to prove you are who you say you are. This will ONLY become important if you want to withdraw. So a small deposit is the way these sites have determined makes the most sense.

After they are satisfied, they will send you a check. Very plain vanilla check.

The All Access card carries little to no info about you in particular. However there may be some info gathered during the activation of that card, either thru the supermarket card you carry, or thru the All Access activation site, but I would think it is minimal.

You can try just about every site for free. If you have a newer computer you can download many sites, and even play at many sites at the same time, in different windows. Your internet connection is a large part of the limits here.

^^^^LMAO yes I fell for it and tried to deposit on stars. They told me they do not allow it to be used for gambling. I told them I paid already what difference does it make but no. Then they charged my a buck for the declined transaction, lol

If you deposit using a method like an All-Access Visa you will be sent a cheque when you withdraw. I believe you have to send verification of who you are before they will send a cheque.

I found that the echeck on PokerStars was a good quick easy deposit. They will send you checks for withdrawals if you use echeck. If you use certain other methods then they will credit back the amount you initially deposited to the initial deposit account, no matter what, with the rest going out however you choose. I also used Full Tilt for a time, however at the time I believe I used NetTeller, which I don't believe accepts US customers anymore. I like the NL cap games at Full Tilt, but I quite like the games at poker stars now that I've been there a while and become acclimated to the site.
