Can someone with first hand experience please tell me the actual time it takes to get a check from Carbon poker. I know there site says 4-6 weeks but it has been almost 7 weeks now and it still says check pending approval. I cleared their I.D. verification process so its not that. I've heard their slow but does it usually take this long to get the check to clear the pending stage. I need to know if im wasting all these hours grinding away at a site thats not going to pay. Anyone had recent success with a check?
Thank you

The time varies. It's been as little as 2 weeks for me in the past. My current pending req is about 7 wks old too.

I'm in the same boat as you and wondering the same thing. When I was a nondepositor I won and received a check within a week. Now that I deposited, I've been waiting for a check for over 6 weeks as well and it still says, "manual approval required" on my withdrawal request. They keep sending me (what I consider to be) lame excuses and explanations. Hope we both get paid! I will not make any more deposits until then. FYI Also, Black Chip Poker is their sister site which I made one deposit just to take advantage of the "First Time Depositor" tourneys and benefits. I am a USA player so maybe that has something to do with the slow pay but it wasn't a problem back in October of last year when I collected $250. Good Luck

I have a friend that w/d $1,000 and he had to pay a $15 check processing fee and it took 6 weeks for him to get his money. They definitely are noted for being slow from everyone I spoke with.

Carbon Poker Withdrawal

 It's been 7 weeks and my withdrawal request still hasn't been approved. I keep asking about it and all I hear is blah, blah, blah! In my opinion, one lame excuse after another. They are not very professional is serving their players. FYI, they also have a sister site, Black Chip Poker, and even though it also offers the First Time Depositor Bonuses & Tounaments, more than likely, they will be slow to pay as well.

I know it sucks but frustration is better directed at our Gov's failed policy and stance regarding this silly game. They continue to attack it and seize the money.

As far as the topic at hand, it apparently takes up to 10 weeks. They send out checks in "batches" and I'm sure they do it this way to avoid any money being taken, so they can send out a batch of checks then move on from that bank/processor and not use the same one for the next batch.

You may want to look into trading someone as for every person who needs to withdraw a couple hundred, there are usualy a couple peole who need to deposit. If these people can get together not only would it be quicker for both, but it may even be exempt from the UIGEA since nothing is going to or from the site and no bank is being used as an intermediary to the transaction.

Amazingly my withdrawal req was approved today (same day). But, my last check from Carbon bounced so I am not counting my chickens yet.

Fingers crossed.

Merge checks are getting slower and slower, the best thing to do is try to trade the funds to someone that is having a hard time making a deposit, which is also a difficult task these days.
