Hello all,
Had a few questions about online poker and found this forum. Thought I would give it a try. From what I've read the players here seem hip to a lot of info that could help me out. First question is I've made a few withdrawals from Bovada using the visa method where they put it right into my account. Never had a problem and they always did it in about 7 days. I went to make another withdrawal and after 10 days they sent me an E mail saying this method was no longer available for the time being and asked me to choose another withdrawal method. I chose check by courier. What does courier mean? Does it mean mail? Or does it mean by an express company like fed ex? Any info would be appreciated.
Thank You
Johnny:)

I mostly get them FedEx.... but right now Bovada is in the middle of a huge corporate change over. So there may be delays right now. I wouldn't be surprised.

Typically I would get checks within 3-7 business days though.

How do you know they are in a corporate change over? I'm waiting for a check that was approved on the 19th. Still no tracking number. I've never had it take this long

No, I've cashed a lot of checks from Bovada over the years. I've never had a problem, and it's almost always from a different foreign bank. This is mainly despoits w/ Wells fargo and citibank though.

I'd talk to a manager and say that's not acceptable. It in no way should take that long to verify a bank. You can always close your account and go elsewhere. BOA is the absolute worst of the big banks. It used to be Chase, but not anymore.

Yeah I guess I've made the mistake with using boa, there is nothing I can do now, they have my check and all I can do now is wait and keep my fingers crossed that it comes sooner than later. A manager did end up coming over and helping the clerk assist me, said there was no other options...had me fill out some, paper work and said they would fed ex it to their foreign collections department and they would take care of everything.
