I have heard that Bovada has very fast cash outs. What is the minimum cash out by check and how long does it normally take to arrive? Thanks for your help.

Updated Feb 2018:

Withdrawal options and procedures are very important when choosing a site to play online poker at. The policies vary a lot from one site to another - and based on where you are located.

The best thing to do is visit the website before you sign up - or even call their customer support. For those considering signing up at Bovada you can do that here - or visit the site to read the T&C and check out the deposit options:

Bovada

If you don't find the answers at their website contact their support team.

Not sure the minimum amount, maximum is 3k. Checks have been arriving in under 3 weeks for a couple months now. Fee is $50, waived for 1 check each month.

**I do know the minimum amount for WU/MG is $100 but there are fees $40/$20 with each method.

I have got two cheks from them one for 380 and one for around 250 or so. they came in under two weeks.
So far very happy with the cashout and the site overall.

I have just cashed $200 out and the check arrived in 8 work days. I agree that Bovada is pretty good at cashing out. Their customer service is nice too.

dont worry about it if you are playing on usa sites. you will never need to use it. i have been asking every1 who will listen when i play live if they play on line and if they have ever withdrawn money. if their not to busy laughing at me i have to listen to all the robbery stories. i am going on a round in a couple of days and will ask around some more. would really like to hear some1 i can look at and know its not an online rep , tell me they have had success, before i deposit at any of these usa sites. just 1 is all i want

I have literally hundreds of online friends that get cashed out from online US poker sites. I've personally gotten hundreds of thousands off post black friday (granted I moved to canada to facilitate moving larger amounts) from US poker sites.
**Edit: Not to mention literally ten thousand plus players who posted on other forums like 2+2, P5s, etc of successful payouts**
I'd say the live players you play are ill-informed.

I was getting ready to withdraw a little cash from Bovada as well. I've read about people having problems cashing the checks at their banks? Is this just a myth or should I play it safe and take it to Wal-Mart or somewhere like that?

I requested a $400 payout on the 10th, was approved on the 11th, and they say it typically takes an average of 10 business days to receive payment. I did by check, so I anticipate a bit longer due to mail delivery.

I will be sure to post when I get it so you get a direct idea.

For my payout approved on the 11th, I was emailed a tracking number through FedEx on the 23rd. It should be getting here in the next couple of days :)

I hope this helps and gives you some sort of time frame for their cash outs.

I recently cashed a Bovada withdrawal check (it took 2 weeks from the time I made the request for the check to be delivered - DHL was the courier). My check was drawn on a bank in Singapore. I first went to my primary bank to cash the check. This is a local bank (i.e., not one of the big National banks) that is well known and established where I live (Kansas City). I pointed out that the check I was depositing was from a bank in Singapore. The teller called someone asking whether I could deposit a "Foreign bank note" - which I thought was an odd term. The teller was told there would be a $75 fee to process the deposit. I said no thanks.

Next I went to the bank where my kids have their accounts with me as a joint owner. This is one of the big National banks. I showed them the check from Singapore and asked if there would be a fee to deposit it. They looked and said they didn't think so because it had normal MICR numbers on the bottom of the check. They ran the check through some MICR device right there in the branch and said - "No Problem". No fees, just a regular deposit into a checking account.

So, tell your bank you have a check from a bank in Singapore and ask if there is a fee to deposit it. Plan accordingly.

Hope that helps. :ac4: :ad4:

Yeah the check is from Singapore and my bank accepts it directly. No fees.
But do not mention online gaming.

Check came in the mail today. From initial request for payout on the 10th to check delivery on the 25th, took a total of 15 days to get to me. Not too shabby in my opinion. Feel free to withdraw as you please :)

Do you have to send any documents to Bovada to verify your account?

I don't believe I have ever sent anything to Bovada document wise... I can't even think of what documents would have to be sent...?

They do make it pretty simple and painless in my opinion. I don't have any experience of cashing through any other site, but I've cashed a couple times through Bovada, and have been pleased every step of the way with it.

I had issues with ACR when I had to send in documents. When I faxed them my information they said that they did not receive it even though I sent the fax to the right number. They told me to send it through email so I did that and they told me that they could not open it and then they had me send it through my Yahoo email. They were finally able to get my documents through the Yahoo email but then it turns out I had to also send in a credit card authorization form. After they told me about the credit card authorization form I began playing poker and went on a terrible streak of bad luck to loose my entire $250 bankroll before they got the authorization form.

Please tell me that at Bovada it is not this difficult.
