I tried to cash my check. The bank told me that they were only going to give me 75 cents on the dollar, due to exchange rates. That's unacceptable. Is this true of all banks? If so, is there a way around it? If I have to take a 25% loss every time I make a withdrawal, then it's not worth playing on the site.

Actually, at this point, I'm not looking to play on Bovada anymore. They use the exchange rate as an excuse to shortchange players. They could have easily sent me the correct amount according to the exchange rate, but instead they sent me the amount they owed me in Canadian dollars instead of US dollars. They knowingly gave me 70 some odd cents on the dollar.

So now my question is, is Bovada the only site where this is a problem, or do all online sites do this? If so, once again, is there a bank/withdrawal method that doesn't make the exchange rate an issue?

I don't have the visa option.

To the Bovada rep that contacted me, for some unknown reason, I can't reply to you because I haven't made a particular amount of posts on the forum. If you could give me an email addy, that'd be handy.

As far as Visa Fast Funds goes, you have to make a deposit in order to have the option. As things stand, I don't have any incentive to make another deposit. I need a guarantee that I'm going to be able to withdraw for the full amount. I can't find any info on VFF and the exchange rate.

I noticed quite a few people read this thread. I just wanted to point out that someone from Bovada's so called player advocacy team reached out to me, and they basically rectified the problem. And it didn't take very long.

Yeah, you guys are right about Fast Funds. The guy at Bovada filled me in on the details and it's the way to go.

I guess I got off easy with the exchange rate fiasco, nevertheless, I want to avoid dealing with the tellers from now on.
