Bodog payout problems (at least in Canada)

Hi folks,
Recently bodog became available in canada.
Thought I'd let you know that I'm having no end of problems with cheques from Bodog. I recently had a good run and withdrew 3 times. (Took a couple of months to get the first cheque, they froze my account because I needed to "verify" and somehow that took 3 attempts, funny they don't need to do that to take your deposit but that's another story. To be fair, the last cheque only took 4 weeks to get)

Upon taking the cheques to the bank, they tell me that:
1. It's going to take six weeks before they credit my account
2. It's going to cost me $50 to cash each cheque.
3. I definitely got the feeling from the teller at the bank that I was being suspected of fraud. She said they needed to "investigate" the cheques.

Seems that they neglect to imprint the cheque with the coding at the bottom for account numbers etc.
Customer Service is very prompt, they answer every inquiry, lot's of sorrys etc. But they never say they'll do anything about the issues. I kind of get the "sucks to be you" feeling from them. I've made withdrawals from other sites, and never had this kind of frustration.
Thought I'd let you know, maybe I'm just unlucky.

They ( checks)take 2-3 days to Fedex to front door fo me? once a month and its free? Just tell the teller they are from a repetitable online merchant..Didn't they send instructions for cashing? They did when I first requested a check?

Instructions for cashing a check? I've cashed thousands of cheques in my lifetime, I've never required instructions. You go to your bank sign the checks in front of the teller, ask them to put the cash in your account, and they do it.
They don't hold the cheque like it's a piece of used toilet paper, call over two different supervisors, take 15 minutes to come back and make you feel like a criminal.
There was a cover letter, here's your cheque etc. But I don't recall any instructions.

Got to give Becky props, she's gotten action. Bodog Customer Service has contacted me, and offered to make the bank charges right.
I'm impressed.

i cashed out three times with bankwire.

Ha I remember trying to cash two 5k checks from PS and I had to go into a room and was investigated by my bank and couldnt cash them for 2 weeks,. I was like I won the money online and they thought I was some stupid idiot who brought in those fake sweepstake checks lol...o well funny story now

Problem resolved

Problem resolved, my bank honored the cheques and didn't end up charging me a fee. Bodog was great and offered to make everything right, I'd remove this post if I could.

That's great! I don't think your post should be removed because it speaks highly of Bodog that when a problem comes up, someone there cares enough to get it resolved.

requested a check on Tue 1/12 and wasn't home to meet fed ex guy on friday 1/15... I have such bad service.

If you mean "clearly stated" like you clearly stated your problem in your post, you might want to try again. I took several attempts to understand what you have written, but had to give up. Take a deep breath, turn off the caps locks, and for God's sake -- warm up your pinky for some comma and period use.

Moneybookers for the win. It's basically like neteller was back in the day.. For Canadians anyways. There's a few more hoops to jump through to get your money from MB to your bank account, but it's worth it.

Keep in mind that when MB cuts you a cheque, they draw it in Euros on a German bank. It'll also likely take at least 20 business days to "clear" at your bank, since it's an international cheque. I use wire transfers, which send in the currency of your MB account.

Yes i know this i have already had a moneybookers account the whole thing is i am no longer with them and bodog knows this thats why i use usemybank but bodog refuses to send me my money via any other method except moneybookers which they already know i don't have an account with them anymore they verifed this and sent me an email saying i can know use bank wire and cheque .Money bookers is not even a withdrawl method for me anymore

Soo...what's the problem then? Make a request for withdrawal using one of those two methods.

Thats the point of the whole post they are once again saying that i need to get the money with moneyboookers is the only way that is correct they said i can withdrawal with bank wire or cheque now they are saying the same stupid thing as be four that they need to contact moneybookers or i need to call them i said what for they are just gonna tell me the same thing they told you that i am no longer a user

Please understand I am not trying to be a jerk here. But I feel I have to say that the way you write makes it hard to understand the point you are trying to get across. So if you are communicating via email, ask them to give you a phone number to call, so that you can speak with them directly.
