Okay I am looking for a website to play poker. I am from the US. That is kind of hard for me now because of President George W Bush (thanks a lot, you goon) Anyways I use to play at bodog and Full Tilt. They no longer use neteller. I do not mind using e checks but I really want a site that will deposit the money back into my checking account and not send me a paper check. Is there a site out there that will do that let you deposit with your checking account and when you cash out deposit the money in there for you. If there isn't which of the US poker sites do you recommend I play at? I also like betting on sports and playing roulette. Thank you for your time!

Bodog I know wont send cashouts to your bank account but I think full tilt might not sure. I think it is one of those things where it work some weeks and not others.

they have a page solely for poker rooms that accept us players, after checking that out, u better off asking the site if you have any questions.

Actually, one of the latest anti-gaming bills was sponsored by a Democrat. There's another thread on this board with a link.

Lord knows Dubya's had plenty of f-ups, but this one can't be blamed on him.

The best site is pokerstars because if you are willing to use the e-checks .Then you can cashout to your bank account through e-check.I have done the cashout through e-check it went through in 3 days ,again that 3 bussisness days not including hoildays and weekends. It works great but I'm with a big bank.So that could play as well to why I got it so quick.

I cashed out $800 at pokerstars last week and although I have used echecks several times they took that option off the table.Im not sure why but I am not sure echecks is still an option for US residents.

Ultimatebet, I agree with. They lowered the deposit amount to $10. And they take US credit cards.

The best place for US players really depends on the size of site you are looking for.

When I want to play a large site or find a game fast, I hit Ultimate Bet.

A great mid-sized site is Bodog, and I love tiny little Poker4Ever when I am having a bad day and want to own a few cheap SNGs.

U.S. Poker Rooms 101

I have a background in computer software and systems. I was partners in a computer software company for 10 years before I sold my interest in 2002. This knowledge and background gives me a health respect and fascination for online poker rooms. I have thoroughly “Road Tested” some 80 plus sites both approved for USA players and some that aren’t. There are only a dozen or so distinct software packages for U.S.A approved sites and many of the rooms have the same games/tournaments which they share in common with just minor variations. I enjoy and play a lot at the Cake Family of Poker of rooms including Doyle’s Room, Players Poker and 10 or 12 others. Most recently a medium size room that I have enjoyed, PokerWorld moved to the Cake Platform. I happen to like Players and Doyle’s the best of this group for their Tournaments. I play a fair amount at Poker Stars, Ultimate Bet (which I prefer over its twin Absolute Poker), Timeless/Minted poker along with Carbon/Wass/PDC Poker rooms. They are all very good. For some reason I put Bodog Poker at or near the top of my list. It has its quirks and you either like it or hate it but I like the way the tables are displayed. The configuration allows you to play multiple tournaments (which I am doing most of the time now) and know right where you are at a quick glance. Bodog is easy to use, is well supported and has good cash games and tournament for all levels. With all that said I don’t have just one favorite. All of sites have great incentives and freerolls so I often go where the best Games are being played.

All of the sites I mentioned have streamlined withdrawl options. Some will put the cash into a credit card account. SBR http://forum.sbrforum.com/poker/ is one of the best sports book clearing houses. Talk to my buddy Lou in the Poker Forum. In addition to Poker Bodog has a very good sports book.

Can anyone tell me the easiest way for a U.S. player to make a a first deposit into carbon poker using my checking account? Are there any major differences between e-wallet and e-check. Do both of them allow U.S. player deposits into poker sites and does one have more costly deposit and withdrawl fees. Thanks

one big problem for money transfers into and out of poker/casino sites for USA players is the U.I.G.E.A. and their forceing of banks and credit card comp's to track and report transactions to/from online sites..the best I have found for avoiding bank/card prob's and "cleaning" your money transfers is Pic-club.com..you can deposit(buy shares) straight from checking /bank card, then transfer funds to/from the site you want that they support(they are spreading fast)and they have several options on how to recieve your withdrawls back from them.....check 'em out and if you agree send support of the sites you play at that don't have them as a option a request to add them.

bodog is the best place for me to play. I have accounts at all of them and bodog is the most successful. U get a cash out in about 5 business days and it is in the form of a check.

Here's how it works for me. I think people can have different options depending on how long they've been a customer and such?

Pokerstars - Deposit and withdraw using echeck. Withdrawals show up in my bank account in about 2 days.

Fulltilt - Deposit via echeck but withdraw via paper check. Having a minimum withdrawal sucks, but hasn't been an issue for me *yet* :p. Last check took about two weeks.

Bodog - Deposit with check card. Withdrawal was sent by paper check via Fedex Express. Shipped overnight. Pretty nice.

Cake - Deposit with check card. Not withdrawn any yet but planning to use ewalletxpress (ugh at fees)

Yeah, on the topic of the min withdrawal, I was trying out a few different sites and deposited $50 in Full Tilt.

Well, eventually decided I preferred PStars to Full Tilt and asked to withdraw my funds from Full Tilt. Well, at the time I was under $100 and it says to e-mail them about it. So I did. I've received about 4 e-mails back so far saying that U.S. customers cannot withdraw to a visa, and I've replied about 4 times saying I know that and that I would like a paper check withdrawal.

One letter told me that I should just deposit enough to raise my account to $100 and then withdraw that. Granted, I'm sure that would work, but on principle I really hate that idea.

Getting rather annoying. Tried to sign up on Clicktopay but they're not taking new US accounts or something along those lines. Is there a better way that I should go about trying to get my money cashed out of FT?
