Hi,

We can't use credit cards where I'm from for online poker. Could you tell me which online e-wallet type service is the most universally accepted at online poker rooms? I don't want to have to fund different e-wallets for different rooms because even funding e-wallets accounts can be difficult from here so I'd kind of like to just fund an account once and use it at every room I choose.

Thanks a lot.

Best,

seven

I'm sure others can tell you about ewallets, but IMO your best bet (no pun intended) is to play at Stars, Full Tilt, or a few others and use the All Access (non-reloadable) Gift Card to make your deposit.

Thanks JD. Appreciate it. I'm not from the United States though so I don't think that card would work.

If you are in a country where neteller is available (ie. not US or canada), it is by far the most widely accepted.

Epassporte is alright apperantly it takes a while to load from a bank account but if you are using credit/debit its almost instant I havent withdrawn any money yet so not sure on the cashout time table. Accepted at pokerstars and fulltilt

Thanks guys. I've looked at both neteller and epassporte and like them both. It's just that they like a lot virtual accounts can only be loaded via visa credit/debit card and I've got mastercard so I'm wracking my brains on how to load them. Wire transfer from here is an absolute pain and neteller only accepts direct internet transfers from certain countries.

When I could use NETeller, it was absolutely the best way to move money between sites. If you are good, you only need to go through the hassle of depositing once. I used Western Union for that once.

Be very carefull when using Neteller, especially their +Net Card, because acordingly to their terms and condition, especifically on point 2.5 they are not responsable for the funds in your neteller account if they go bankrupcy, and i quote...
"2.5. Neither the Depositors Compensation Scheme in the Isle of Man nor the Financial Services Compensation Scheme in the United Kingdom apply to Your Card, Your Virtual Card or to Your Account. No other compensation schemes exist to cover losses claimed in connection with Your Card or Your Virtual Card. This means that in the event that We become insolvent Your funds may become valueless and unusable and as a result You may lose Your money that is held on your Card or Virtual Card."
Take care.

If you are afraid of that just need to use it like a transfer processor not like a bank account, you load your card and deposit that in the poker site or what ever you like, buy things, etc.

If want to cashout your money from a poker site just transfer to your Neteller and then go to a ATM and withdraw that money (or transfer to your bank, etc.) the important thing is not let $ floating in Neteller account, you just used like a transfer processor, then you don´t need to worry.

Even if is not because trust issues about Neteller and is about hackers or whatever is always safer to not let $ money there that is not intented to move soon.

Re-load problems

Hi guys! I heard that we in the U.S. can still re-load using the "vanilla" credit card. I had been using a netspend visa but they have since stopped that with the recent law changed.Netspend will no longer allow thier cards to be used to deposit funds into-on-line sites like full tilt.Suggestions please other than e-check ,western union. As I have no checking account that is not a viable option. Thanks
