If its the same thing as ACR's debit card method which im assuming it is since they merged.. I saw someone on here post that they witdrew 4figures onto the card and got it out of an atm.. no problems took like 2 weeks to get the card and like 2 days for money to post on card..

I got the email as well and it says you get $25 for applying for the card? I'll give it a try for $25 free money :)

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that isn't an actual photo of the card. I don't think they want Americans walking around with a debit card that says 'Black Chip Poker' or ACR on it.

Yea this option has been available for ACR for a bit. Always was interested in this. It's supposed to be fast as well. There is some 4.95/mo fee but if thats not manageable you probly dont the card anyways imo. I plan to get it. It will be nice to get the "EU treatment" when it comes to cashouts for a change.

I have the ACR Card (which I am quite happy that Black Chip says I can use for their site as well). It is a debit Mastercard and does not have the poker site name on the card (or your own name for that matter).

It has worked for my situation perfectly and as long as your withdrawals are enough to justifly the fees you should get one.

Wow this seems very nice and a lot easier to cash out directly of the poker room and not have to pay the enormous taxes that neteller charges for each withdraw.

After see all the research you guys have done, I this the name of this thread should be changed to, "Awesome Idea for a Withdrawal Method", because what they have put together is borderline criminal.

I'm pretty sure the vig you'd have to pay a loan shark might be less.

Debit card payout is a great idea, but some of those fees are discouraging. $10 cancellation fee on top of $4.95/month? I suppose this would be a decent option for a one-time withdrawal, especially if you're getting a $25 bonus for signing up. Doesn't sound like a good debit card in general though.

The idea as a concept is good, and perhaps competition in the market will help drive some of these fees and monthly maintenance fees down - which I'll agree are outrageous.

That said, if you're a high stakes player looking for an easier and faster method of getting your money in and out, the fees might actually look fairly appealing. I mean, if you're playing for thousands upon thousands of dollars each month, what's a few extra bucks here or there for the convenience of it and nothing would be worse than having thousands wrapped up in a site that takes forever or never pays out.

I used a debit card for Neteller before 2006 and was able to withdraw from most ATM machines. I am surprised that they are offering this to US players and fear that if it works, it will only be temporary.
