Has anyone used BCP person to person?

I'm trying to fund an account with BCP. Have jumped through every hoop with no luck. The final option offered to me is Person to Person (MG). I'm asked to send $ to a person in another country. This person is valid for only 48 hours. This seems kinda iffy to me. What's to stop them from taking the money and running.

It's valid. Scary sending to some random name in the Philippines or whatever but it works. Same thing with doing a MG withdrawal.
