Has anyone dealt with RBC?

The bank seems to create most of my headaches, they do not allow gambling, Full Tilt used to mask the payment by giving it a different name, but now they aren't and my account is useless to me right now.

I went to deposit today, and the payment wasn't going to be accepted. Which leads me to the concern that at any time if I were to cashout, I wouldn't be able to cash the check because RBC wouldn't let me.

Has anyone dealt with these fools? And if so, what did you do to maneuver around them.

Living in Canada, I've been a Royal Bank customer for a long, long time. I have always found their service to be outstanding.

If your account is in the U.S., I'm sure it would have something to do with the U.I.E.G.A (sp?) legislation. Try another branch, and if that doesn't work call the head office or telephone banking customer service and see what they say.

Thanks for the responses guys, I am in Canada as well, but according to RBC they do not support online gambling, Full Tilt used to mask the payment, guess it doesn't anymore (patch fix?) either way, I'm happy that if I need to cash I will be able to.

I had to go to RBC (as a non-customer) to get a visa gift card in order to be able to deposit on bodog when they first opened to Canadians. My mastercard was no good.

If you are able to use Moneybookers or Click2Pay, I'd definitely go that route. Moneybookers is the nuts, Click2Pay is decent too though.

Full Tilt suggested I use entropay, best suggestion ever. Very easy to get it going, gets you a virtual Visa card, works like a GLOVE.

i used a pre paid visa card from rbc and it worked fine. Insta debit works very good too, except it took a little work to set up an account with it lol the money showed up instatly for both options, so that was good haha
