Hey guys, does anyone play on these sites? If so, how long does it take to receive a payout? Right now, I only play on Bovada because they are the only ones who can send you your check within 2 weeks.

Cashouts at Americas Cardroom and Black Chip poker are very fast. The take about the same time as Bovada and they also have a unique debit card option that allows you to get you money off in around three days.

It should be noted that the debit card is costly, (fees for this, fees for that, and fees for asking about the fees:eek:), so for a small bankroll, it might not be worth it. However, when you win the big one...........;)

I had no luck with any sort of net spend or prepaid cards. I heard that people have had success with them in the past. Do any poker sites still accept net spend cards? I live in the USA so it is very difficult for me to deposit funds

I was wondering if you have a check sent to you how complicated is it to get cashed. I refuse to have a bank account for quite a few reasons, and I have read that most checks need to be deposited or something for them to clear.

Do you have a Chase Bank in your state ? If so you can open a liquid acct it is a pre paid debit card with the advantages of having a checking acct. I use this for my poker funds and I have cashed out twice and when receiving my check the funds were available immediately. The other plus is that it is Federally insured in the states; not like these off shore pre-paid cards. It is $4.95 per month for fees.

This is what I've been hearing. What'd you think about Carbon and Merge?
Meh. I heard it has some relatively shitty cashout times, plus it has this super annoying ID check requirement and it has a free HUD so the competition's tougher than at other sites.

Black Chip has been really good to me for cash outs. All the way back to the Merge Network they were able to help me out.
BUT, does anybody know which WPN SKIN (True, BCP, ACR etc) offers the highest Rakeback? That BBJ and the beast rake kinda sucks. If you play micro limits there I can't imagine its very beatable bcuz of it

I don't think there is any difference. General consensus seems to be that the micro's there are not beatable, and yes, because of that double rake.

Someone posted this on 2+2 just purchase a money order with your debit card, and then take it to your bank to cash, therefore you get the cash immediately and hit by the least amount of fees that you can.

How one withdraws using that debit card is most important. At my local casino's ATM, when I use the card, there are several different ways to withdraw. Debit or CC, maybe another choice or 2. One wanted to charge me $35!, I declined, and choose another method and it only cost $3.00.

Suggest to play at Bovada for now. Hopefully it won't be long before we
can get back on pokerstars in the US.

Be forewarned!

CC members might be interested in knowing that if you make a player-to-player transfer, you cannot WD those funds without raking at least 20% of the transferred amount.
ie. you've received $100 from another player via p2p transfer. You now need to rake at min. $20 before you're able to WD the $100.
Do not quote me on this exact figure it is just what I've read elsewhere on CC from another member's experience while talking to support. (support actually didn't even give me a set figure... just said they'd reconsider & would decide at their own discretion when they figured I'd played enough on the site to WD money from there. Incidentally, I also deposited on the site & played on the former DoylesRoom since 2007, having done MANY transfers & deposits in the past when it was Doyles).

On ACR you receive 5pts. for each $1 raked.

This doesn't seem to be the same on other sites on the WPN network
ie. I received a stake to play on TruePoker awhile back & didn't have this same experience on there at the time. (I'm not sure of their rules)

After a series of a ~ half-dozen emails with support, they've finally confirmed that a player does in fact need to rake 20% of whatever amount they've received via P2P transfer before they'll be able to withdrawal anything (wasn't even allowed to WD the amount I deposited on their site).

Then wanting confirmation in regards to exactly how many pts. (or rake) I would need, there seemed to be a bunch of confusion around that too. I had a couple of them telling me that 'tourney fees' do not count as rake paid to the site. WTF are they thinking? Are they thinking? Seems like many of their support staff are not familiar with the site's rules or much about poker either. I finally got one response that assured me my tourney fees do in fact count (I didn't want to play on there without getting an absolute confirmation of how much I'd need to play & where exactly I stand at present. This is after a bunch of b.s. they fed me 6mos. ago, when they'd told me there isn't a set amount I need to rake but instead it was up to their discretion to decide if I'd played enough in order to make a withdrawal which is obviously complete b.s. (who would play on a site if they didn't know if they'd even be able to WD off of it... when they have many other options for playing online poker).

On a positive note. Players seem to be real bad on ACR and its going to probably take me just one more week until I can get my money.

I read somewhere else that they had a bad experience on ACR with support when trying to get verified for a withdrawal, weird because I play mostly on BCP and their support is the best I have ever encountered. I thought that these sites' support both online and via phone were all run out of one place that hosts support for the entire winning network, so I don't see how one could be better than the other...anyways if you have any more problems in the future call their direct line, number is on the website for BCP/ACR, and ask for David Miller...he is a supervisor, and by far the best person for fixing/clarifying really any sort of problem you have.

This is contrary to an email I got (in July) that said 10% rake above the $1k I got in a p2p.

Which raises the question of why not just charge a percentage fee to withdraw it?

Probably because poker sites in general want to keep as much cash on their site as possible. They want you to lose the money to a weaker player (while collecting rake), then they want that weaker player to have it for a while, then eventually lose it to whomever. They will make more money that way.
