Had some funds at ACR (America's Cardroom) and thought I might as well withdraw them.

Firstly 'you have not deposited recently' - fine, so I deposit some cash

Then, no ID on record- fine again standard, send ID, verified

Now when I try and access cashier a pop-up asks me to verify details and then says 'user does not exist' (despite me being logged in and being able to see balance)

Spoke to support- after an hour they say send screenshot of problem to support, then hang up on me!

Spoke to them again and they said (after another hour) request manual withdrawal via email, so did that- more than a week later- nothing

Chased them, no response (3 days)

Will try and pester these theives into giving me my money back, but my recommendation is dont go anywhere near them

Anyone else had issues trying to withdraw there?

Their cashier software has always been buggy for me. Are you trying to take out a lot of money? Why does it matter when you last deposited? Does that mean you never deposited & freerolled? I cant imagine there is a rule that you can only withdraw if you deposited recently....

On some sites, yes. myBet required me to re-deposit as my previous deposit was more than 6mos. before my withdrawal. (then once I made the deposit, they said I needed to wager the full amount prior to making a withdrawal, lol).

A.C.R. support can suck very badly (my experience anyways). Most of the support staff seem uneducated about the whole WD process. For me it was like pulling teeth for many weeks until I was even finally able to get a straight answer from them. Once you've established a withdrawal, I imagine they're not too bad (but don't know for sure... once I got my money from them it was 'bye bye ACR... learn to treat your customers decently & with respect').
I've had a far better experience on BlackChip!
Currently I do not play on either but am considering playing on BlackChip again in the future. ACR > never again!

I played there over a year ago and they were fine for me. In fact, winning poker network sites have been my favourite by far so far.

Tried 1 tourney on ACR (freeroll) and it sucked! Have stayed away from it since....seems like they are turning into Lock Poker now imo.....Lock's great "24/7 support" system as they call it seems like its rubbed off on ACR

Ok about call support or 24/7 support give them big five.
But what about this thread?
https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-deposits-withdrawals-54/

WIthdrawals are the No.1 priority for online poker players, all of us want our money to be safe without having problem with withdrawal or when you want to spent for something out of poker.

anytime you start to get problems to withdraw money its time to leave that site.
always easier to deposit than withdraw because they make it difficult and frustrating so you leave the money and play.

newbie? newbieS
I emailed back & forth many, many, many times (off & on for over ONE YEAR!)
I'm pretty sure it wasn't because of one individual on their staff.

Pretty sure playing in one freeroll isn't going to give you much of an idea about a site (aside from how you might or might not like the graphics &/or some of the settings/functions with the software, etc.).

Also, even though I totally detest ACR (due to my own experience there) I don't think it is even remotely fair to make any kind of a comparison with ACR to Lock. ACR provides a decent service, especially to US players (although I'd be choosing BCP or True of ACR any day) whereas Lock is like playing poker with play money (< only difference between playing on Lock & say playchips on a more reputable site is > on Lock you can sort of lose something (an imaginary balance)... on both you can win nothing)

I understand you were referring to the ACR support staff possibly being a 'newbie' (& not me).. but you were insinuating/assuming I spoke with ONE person

I have the debit card from ACR and have no problem withdrawing 4 figures in 24 hours. They have the best withdrawal option for both checks and debit card at the moment, so a couple people may have a problem here or there, but for the most part it is easy to get your money on and off this site

I was skeptical of ACR as well. I never made a deposit and very easily withdrew $450.00 in November by check. I had my check in hand about three weeks later and it took another week for it to clear.

But now we are talking two months after that so i don't know if they have become more like LOCK in those two months.

I'll tell you one thing. Back in september I was dominating the freerolls there. But after I cashed out seems like nothing would go right for me no matter how many freeroll tourneys I would play.

i started to suspect that the site was rigged. When I won the $450, I don't think they anticipated me pulling that money out right away; they figured I'd leave it in there and play a real money account with it.

in any case, i guess we've all had our suspicions about sites being rigged at one point or another. Perhaps it was just my imagination. I do know one thing though, ACR paid me my funds and it took about month to get the check and for it to clear.

But now in january 2014, things could be different. Please do keep us updated....let us know if you got your funds and how long it took. thanks

I haven't made a withdraw on ACR in quite awhile, but when I did I never had any issues. One thing that is bothering me, aside from the traffic is WAY down from a year or so ago, is that there are hundreds of accounts created just in 2014; All MALES, ALL from COSTA RICA & most created accounts in FEB & MAR. Many where created the same days or on consecutive days.

I've been on the site for almost 2 years & until these last 2 months I had seen less than 5 players from COSTA RICA, now they are infesting the Free Rolls and Micro low stakes tables. Many of those tables will have 1-3 of these "Players" at any given time. Very strange things.

I know its not the Poker Pro's who have been fleeing the U.S's tyrants' @ DOJ in mass. Doubt they would bother playing a $10 Free Roll or a $25 GTD 0.50 cents Buy-In OnDemand tourney. So watch out for these people.

Now on BlackChip, ACR's sister site I have some bankroll thanks to CardsChat, FreeRolls & the parlaying of those winnings. When looking at my account history it show my REAL $ balance, Date of Real Money account:NONE (I've never deposited, but took all steps to verify my account) Then underneath that even though it shows my actual Real $$$ account balance it says I have NO REAL MONEY !

I'm becoming more leery of ALL the US "accepted" sites by the day and seriously considering a move to maybe canada. Any suggestions on a decent freedom loving democracy where an American online poker player can just play without all the worry & hassle?

Not to be picking on Costa Ricans. I just find it extremely odd that SO MANY people from such a tiny place, out of all the places in the world, decide to start joining a particular OLP site basically within a month & a half.
I'm thinking BOTS because they rarely make it ITM or a Final Table.

If 300 guys from the state I live in joined a site in that manner, I'm sure people would think something was up. So what is up Costa Rica?

ACR mysteriously inactivated my account. I am not sure why they did so I personally blacklisted them and play only at BCP. I have no problems there and have made 2 cashouts from them. From my experience with ACR and what i have seen from others , Its not the safest place to play.

Some years ago I had this same thing happen to me before too. I contacted support and after some back and forth, I got my account re-opened and funds returned.

It's worth a shot at least.

They should be fine right now in cashout. I mostly got the check within 2 weeks. The check I got from Canada bank and verified within 1 day so I can cash it at next day!
