I probably shove over his raise or, fold if I think I'm behind. Lots of tough decisions arise when playing AQ.

I prefer raising preflop but as played I think going all-in is the only play on the flop and you got it in very good. Nothing more you can ask for (except for it to hold).

I don't really get the limp preflop. Were you slow playing or were you nervous about playing out of position? If you were intentionally slow playing to catch them, maybe rebetting preflop would have been able to get them to fold. If you were nervous about playing out of position, I think you just gotta get used to not sticking to hands two tightly, but knowing that raising AQ is still a winning play.

In my opinion you lost this hand pre flop. You should be raising pre with AQo here. If you do limp you should be 3 betting. SB already has half their stack in on the flop. I don't blame them for calling off with Ace high, back door flush, and two back door straights. Maybe this player is bad enough to still get it in if we raise pre but as played their line is understandable. Raising over a bunch of limpers with a suited Ace is fine. Then c-betting a flop that hits a raising range is also fine. After we jam they are in a tough spot. They should probably fold but there is also a lot of dead limp money in the pot along with half their stack. If you can jam a few semi bluffs like KT, T9 here then A2s might still have enough equity to call off here. At any rate, we got it in as good as we can hope and they got lucky. That's poker but when we run fancy lines to trick them into getting it in we cant also turn around and complain that they got it in and hit.

you need to raise the limper with the AQ

as played....shoving the flop is fine. I would probably flat the flop and then get it in on all turns.

You are dealing with a maniac, therefore, to analyze something is useless. Spinning the fish on the all-in, you got a surprise luck that often comes on the principle: "Carries fools and drunks"
