pokerstars, late in a toournament,
Blinds: 400/800
Ante: 50
9 players
I'm in Seat 4, with 18,973 chips, and received A K suited, diamonds.
Player before me bets 800, I raise 2,700 more for a total of 3,500.
The player just behind me raises another 2,700 for a total of 6,200
He has 49,363 chips and got me covered.
Everyone folds to me, I call. Flop is 4 Q 5, with 2 diamonds. I check, he bets 17,600 and I raise him all-in. He calls. No diamond, no ace on the turn and the river, I'm dead.
Question: Should I have raised all-in pre-flop? Should I have folded pre-flop? (I still have enough chips to wait for a better opportunity). Should have have folded on the flop after I check and he bets (I'm not pot committed yet).
