Is this bad luck or should you do the same? Like going all-in or just fold at this point?

I would do the same, or even be all in on the turn already.
It's just bad luck that you run into a set with your trips.
Trips usually will be good enough here, especially with a K kicker.
There is no possibility for a flush and only a straight draw is possible, so safe for those too.
All in was a good play, just bad luck mate.

Players smooth call on the flop is hard for you to narrow there range but there re-raise on the turn should have alarm bells ringing. Saying that though I don't think you played the hand badly just unlucky on the turn.

You did the best. The other guy was the aggressor. You can't know that he has pocket queens. You play it pretty well. I would slow play it from the flop with just call. However with such a board you could call all anyway.

i think your mistake here is limping preflop. dont limp... if its not good enough to raise then its probably not good enough to play. you should raise here to about 2bb to 2.5bb (id personally go 2.2bb) and reevaluate if you get 3bet.

postflop is fine. im getting all my chips in as fast as i can here.

Yes indeed, it was a cold deck for you and i see no way you could get away to give him all of your chips. However i would play a bit differently. As i am on a CO with KJo with a healthy stack and see no aggression before me, i would raise it like x3-4 and hope i could steal the pot. If i receive a 3bet from queens, it will be easy fold for me on a preflop already. If i get called i would play about the way you did. But as i said, it's a cold deck for you. Really tough to avoid stack in without strong reads on your opponent and even then..

Thank you all for the information. Playing more aggressively with this hand, could have result in a better end.

Raising on the flop had to be done more, letting him know that you already have a set, or the all-in bet would look good too

Calling preflop is fine since there were 3 short stacks behind you, raising here is not an option except you are willing to give away half of your stack or even more to gamble against the short stacks, for me no thnx with KJo.Some would say fold here, because in the long term u lose chips here, thats fine too, but what if u run card dead, i will always call here and fold if the short stack shoves.Would the BB have raised more here i would fold, but seriously pocket queens and u raise 1bb, and then they cry if some ace wrack hand wins, bad play preflop with QQ.You just got unlucky at the turn, good luck in the future!

IMO you should be more aggressive pre flop, the pot would be bigger and depending on the villian, you can even, rarely, make him fold on the flop
