I did the craziest fold on the first hand of the tournament today : hero 77os raise river 5bb villian call flop is [9c 7d 9s] i raise to about 1/3 of the pot [Td] I check villian checks [Kh] villian moves all in full house vs full house T vs 7 proud of that fold .

is their anything i could of done differently

Have you read the post about how to post a hand history? If I were you, I would start there

Every time I see a post like this and simply gasp. So many dynamics! Live? Online? Table Read? Position? Stack counts?

I so wish there was a specific directive....LOL....77 is so fickle whether online or Live.

Sometimes I have found it best to just jam in late position with 7's. But again so many dynamics.

If you ever get a direct winning answer let me know....LOL

In this thread, nobody will be able to give you a worthwhile answer. Your post lacks detail and information that is critical to hand analysis.

Good job reading him? It's hard to fold a set.

if this was 1st hand of the game riverbet should be most times a sizeable overbet
make this calc yourself,if the pot is small pre, just 1/3 bet flop goes in and the turn gets checked, the pot usually should be very small compared to your stacksizes, then a river allin should be gigantic.

So if the pot was smaller you couldnt ever fold if it was this big compared to the pot , it might have been an easy laydown.

I agree posting the hand in his format , doesnt really look good, if you need any helpon this just ask .

I would have called myself FolddaRiver :p
