Reasons to raise the turn? It is really pointless to make it..

This turn raise makes no sense the only hands he is representing with this raise is three of a kind or a combo of ace jack. I could see maybe if you have a read calling the turn but raising it is just idiotic especially putting your tournament on the line. Ask what is he calling with here that i have beat and the answer is really nothing.

Bad play Eddy
You can call turn but never raise with almost nothing in that kind of tournament. Semi bluff in Ilvl of Open Skill League? Never!

I try to never chase a flush with a pair on the board.. Baby flush draw got no help on turn so I 'assume' the player here thinks his 6's are good or tried to make a play and represent that he was holding the 2 which is not a bad play considering he is BB who's to think the opponent had called to see the flop with 26 from third spot.. But this is an easy hand to fold even after the raise on turn the re-raise is a fold spot.. even to call the re-raise a fold at the river when the flush/boat didn't hit would have left some chips to play with.

Just flat on the turn and reevaluate on the river.

Personally I would've gone for a check-raise on the flop. We have a pair & a flush draw.... how much better do you want?

Eddy a suggestion for you. In the future when posting hands it 'might' be better to just provide details of the hand up until the point of your decision (don't show results! as it can skew posters comments/advice).

In some hands you can ask for advice/comments on more than one spot
ie. flop ?
... then perhaps wait for some responses (unless at the time you felt the turn was where you wanted advice & were happy with how you had played the hand up til' that spot).

Preflop is fine.

Flop is fine, we can x/r here, however I don't mind keeping the pot smaller OOP.

Turn I am just calling again, we are getting correct odds to hit our 11 outs.....but we raise? This raise is only getting better hands to call and worse hands to fold, out of position we want to be pot controlling in these types of spots.

The shove over is pretty spewy considering how strong our opponent's click back is. I wouldn't mind just calling here and leading favorable rivers given how little we beat.
