I think I should have raised or folded pre instead of limping but table was super passive pre.


As played what should I do here on the river. Check/Fold seems nitty, Bet/Fold seems a little spewy. Check/Call? Check/Fold? Didn't have HUD open but very few hands and no real reads here.

Well You are corect youshould fold J8 preflop. If You want to play it at least be suited, in late position and open raise, never limp good luck

Especially with the BB being forced allin, fold pre. Avoid open limping outside of the SB altogether unless you have a defined and balanced strategy for open limping or are exploiting w/ specific dynamics.

Flop is fine as long as you're range checking or you have a read that BU probe bets flops at a high frequency and are exploiting.

Turn sizing is good. Check fold river.
