Freeroll blinds are 125/250
Button (640).
Big Blind(440).
Small Blind (3055).
UTG(725).
UTG +1(10295).
Hero (19819).
LJ (27043).
HJ (1710).
Villain (24546).

Hero is Dealt JJ

Preflop:
Folds to Hero raises to 500
Folds to villain who puts me all in

Thoughts: Didnt think he would play AA or KK like this because a lot of the time he is going to get a fold and miss a lot of value with those hands. I concluded that he might have QQ, any AK, or a few underpairs to my JJ like TT/99 but I am likely to be flipping a lot. I also think because it is a freeroll people are likely to be goofing around with some weird hand.

My question is what would you do in this spot when you open to 2bb and get put all in for around 80BB.

In my experience these types of huge all in overbets in freerolls don't mean anything. These guys aren't trying to make plays, they're just gambling and trying to build a huge stack at high risk by getting lucky. Without more info it's impossible to say what his range is, but just by the size of his bet, we'll assume he's loose and crazy. I'd say he's in there with any pair, any 2 broadway cards, any suited A, maybe even any Ax. With JJ, there's a good chance you're ahead, but it's still a gamble. Not sure how you feel getting it in with such a big stack even if you're a 60/40 favorite, but that's up to you to decide.

This is a freeroll and the guy couldn't make such a big stack if he is playing carefully from the start. I think that he probably was entering a lot of those all ins to build such a stack in early levels. Don't forget that this is a turbo rebuy, so most of the players will try to get as much as possible stack early. Your cards are pretty good for call. Do you have any read on the opponent? Some of his previous all ins in order to build such a big stack? I would call, because of turbo freeroll. Will not call in other kind of tournament.

You should call there, you are most likely ahead or flipping. It's a freeroll and he's probably trying to get lucky and build a huge stack.
