Well, your sample size of your opponent is relative small, but the few hands, that you have from him, are showing, that he is not a very passive player. But still relative unknown to you by stats. Therefore, I guess, I wouldn't attack him with that hand preflop. Actually, calling with Ax by him could be possible.

Then maybe you also need to think about, with what he expects with whate range you to raise him. It is looking like a dry board for him and he could assume, that you also didn't hit on flop as you were checking. And reraising on turn with just a gutshot wasn't the best move in my opinion. I guess in the oponents eyes it was unlikely, that you made your straight.

the x/r on turn is too small to make them fold & our hands not good enough to try & build bigger pot or induce a shove imo
river is a x/c for me unless they shove

my opinion would be to bet the flop as a semi bluff its always better to bet than check call

Villain may have seen your preflop raise as 'steal'.
With vpip=33, villain can call with about 50% of hands in BB?
Your vpip=20 suggests that you likely missed the flop, confirmed by the check.
I would guess villain has Ax, or at least 1 pair and doesn't believe you.
Villain is almost commited after the turn, likely to call your all-in.

Very interesting to see if your 7s were enough to win the pot.

Blinds are 50k-100k right? In that case, preflop, you should raise bigger. Standard steal size from SB would 2,5x-3x.

On the flop, why not c-bet? You want to win the pot, right? You have no SDV and you have gutshot, very standard c-bet imho. As played, call is fine.

On the turn, it's time to fold. You don't have enough equity to call and you have better hands for check-raising, like flush draws, or nut straight blockers, like A8 or J8. As played, your check-raise is very small and it achieves nothing, but inflating the pot.

On the river, going all-in makes no sense. You picked up some equity, villain still can have missed flushes that you beat. And as a bluff you want to have 8 or T in your hand, blocking straights. Your block nothing, bluffing with J7 is not better than bluffing with any two random cards.

Overall, played poorly on all streets.

Since you decided to steal BvB you should at least cbet him around 35% you have two over cards and a gutter so practically you cbet with equity and not with air . Since you find some resistance by the BB player I would give up turn and save my chips for a better spot! Plus you don't have any stats for this particular opponent.
