Hi,

i just played this hand in a PS School Freeroll. I was involved in pot with a guy that hat a relatively big stack. In retrospect I think I didn't price the turn enough. Probably should have bet something like 70% pot on the flop to make him fold his draws.

What do you think??? My thinking at the time was that I wanted him to continue with marginal hands and get full value from my trips. Of course the river was the worst possible hand but I was pot commited and had to call...

just fold preflop, 66 is not enough strong hand when you early position, there are also many callers in the freeroll...

I would normally play 66 from MP+ (depending on my stack size of course) but since I didn't want to blind off due to the fast structure I decided to play it. With many callers I would fold to any flop raise if I didn't catch a set!

But I agree that 66 from UTG+1 shouldnt be played very often.

On the flop though, do you think a bigger raise would have made the villain fold?

You could just shove on flop, and definitely on turn. But you could also on flop, due to your low stack and his huge one.

When playing full ring, better to fold 66 utg especially when playing freeroll unless you got 10bb or less then you should shove.
