I think its an iffy call on the river.
Most villains don't 3 barrel bluff with air- and with your hand, what exactly are you beating? Q8s? Q7s? Also straight got there on the river....and range wise you should have 78 much more often than villain, so with him betting he either does not understand that or doesn't care because he has a monster. And all you have is one pair.
For the frequency of the times I see there Q8 I don't think its worth it. I fold.

Why are we checking the flop? We are probably ahead, and future cards are unlikely to improve our hand. Does the UTG have some tendency, like slow-playing monster hands pre-flop, or being very aggressive post-flop, that makes us check here?

Turn check/call fine for pot size control.

I agree with uavisser regarding the river, unless you have a read that this player is very loose.

Ty guys, for share your opinion, now I think that a bet in flop is better than check call.

will you enlighten us what he has?
sometimes i am overthinking and they turn over a complete senseless random bluff. even in up to 11$ tourneys. so i‘d like to know if the villains in freerolls are also that kind of maniacs:D

You should have made a bet on the flop or turn. You got your pair, and you can raise the bet. Of course, throwing his hand at aggression.

when I raise @ the flop und UTG calls.
I would raise again in turn. is that to aggressive or should then wait what UTG does?

Depending on the dynamics of the table I might consider isolation raising pre-flop but other than that leading out the flop or even check-raising would be good.
