I personally would just fold it. calling gets you to the flop in a bloated pot where if you don't hit an ace or a draw your going to have to call his c-bet which would be somewhere around 17bb+ or fold anyways. reshove would work but if the small blind calls your betting 43bb to win back 48ish which aren't very good odds with A10o. I agree that he would re-raise if he was strong but with 43bb I would just let those 2 battle each other and wait for a better spot.

let me know if my logic sounds out to lunch and also how that hand did play out

I would shove, SB could have hands like AA, KK, QQ but it's very likely that he is calling just because of the bounty and will fold to a shove.

i think this is a clear shove. think about what hands a >10bb stack is shoving HU. first of all you beat a lot of them second of all he just limped which is a universal sign of weakness. sure he can be slowplaying a monster but worst case scenario your dominated and only lost 1/6 of your stack. best case scenario he folds pre because he actually is weak and you dont give him a cheap card to outdraw you or he feels commited to call because of his short stack and you have him dominated. im shoving literally 100% of the time here.
