Before I reveal the out come what would you do in this case. We floped the nut straight and villain just calls down till river then jams! Is he bluffing or does he have it?

I like overbetting turn here to 14-15k to polarize yourself and set draws a bad price to call while keeping 2pr+ in. This also allows you to size up on the river.

As played I'm folding. Gross spot, but if villain is good enough to turn something like AhTx/Ah9x, Ah8x into a bluff here then he earned it.

Villian's line makes no sense at all. There's $16K in the pot when he jams $55K, I guess this is player specific, but as a default this is a snap call.

Yeah, I snap, if he flopped flush, GG.

You never look at bluff in this situation. But after you check on the turn you must call the shove by Villain, because Villain on BB must shove here with 6x7x, Tx9x, 8x9x, 8xTx, AhTx, AhXh for value.

still surprised by those who call raises with these hands, although he already had 800 in the pot. still, for me I would have imaging ah-x and he was calling for flush anyways. I would more than likely fold just because of the payouts, no need to lose whole stack at that time.

IMO pre flop you should be more aggressive, the min raise gave him the odds to make the call, but its not a bad play. On the flop, I would bet about 1/3 pot, you flopped a very good hand, but theres still a very wet board, so you can better control the pot. Besides, if he has a losing hand like A9o, TT maybe he will call this 3/4 pot bet very unfrequently. On the turn, I would bet 1/2 pot, the possible flush draw would be punished and the pot still controlled. The river it probably would have the same end, you have too much showdown value to fold here, but I would put all my chips in anyway
