I would do the same action , or would 4.5X ... if you do not hit anything above QQ I put a bomb about 75 % of the pot , to receive call , in turn shove !

I'm 3betting preflop, and since it's a freeroll yes jam to a 4bet.

P.S. Don't show the results.

Kozong is back from the rice fields and onto the felts I see! :D

Flatting here is bad imo. We are way ahead of MP's opening range and the stacks behind are nitty and not short enough to squeeze light.

Would definitely 3B/call to 5.2bb every time here. As played, just jam over the flop. The pot is 13.25bb and we have 23bb behind. It's unlikely these players are playing differently against a jam or a 9bb re-raise and a shove looks weaker.

Pre-flop: This is a definite 3-bet. I make it about 4-6BB here, nice and small because the tournament seems to be quite shallow. The problem with flatting is that we miss out on value because we're well ahead of MPs range, and plenty of that can call a 3-bet. We have position and we want to play big pots in position, especially with a hand like QQ. Finally, calling gives the BB an amazing price which means he'll often call. We ideally want to play QQ heads-up. If we get 4-bet by MP, we get it in yes. I'm never folding QQ for 16BB.

Flop: When the BB leads out here, it's pretty strong. I think he mostly has some sort of TPMK (J9 type hand) or even a Tx that wants to find out where it stands. Obviously that's a bad reason to bet, but weak players use it all the time. The BB could also have a straight draw, plenty of combos of those in his range (89, KQ, 78). When MP calls, I think he often has a hand like AJ, KJ or AT. He could easily have KQ, AK as well. Realistically, I'd say you're ahead most of the time and can get called by worse if you raise (Jx and straight draws). Sizing though. As one of the above chaps argued, we should just shove. I'm also just shoving here. AJ/KJ aren't folding since it's hard for us to have overpairs in our range (we would have 3-bet them pre-flop usually). KQ and AK are unlikely to fold either. Just jam it in and hope for the best.

As played, you got very unlucky that MP had AA and the BB clearly had some sort of brain malfunction when he didn't squeeze pre-flop. There's no way you could know KK was in his range here. Unlucky, but also some mistakes were made even though I doubt it would have changed the outcome of the hand in this particular instance.
