Hero is dealt :ah4: :qc4:

UTG folds
Hero raises to T$2500 (raise verbally announced, 2 T$1K chips + T$500 chip)
MP calls T$2500
BTN counts out T$3500 in T$500 chips and slides them forward. Players announce that is a raise since the extra T$1000 is more than half of my T$1500 raise and BTN has to make it T$4000.
BB cold calls T$4000

Hero ??
Hero shoves T$24025 total
MP folds
BTN tanks, counts out a call, counts his remaining chips, tanks, makes the call
BB folds

BTN shows :as4: :kd4:

Flop is :ad4: :7h4: :8c4: Turn & River are bricks.

Could this be an angle or was it an accident?
If I think this was a legitimate mistake I'm probably shoving.
Depends on our read of the villain and the situation.

Shove, there's enough dead money in the pot and it looks like villain meant to call.

I would shove that I think. It is more about the player though. If he is a tight player I would call to see a flop then go from there. If he is loose, shove on the spot! not so lucky but oh well!
What would you have done if you just called? Probably getting out of the hand with loosing half of your money.
