Hi Everyone,
I was on the button with QJs, with dozens of limpers, generally loving life.

My hope here was to see a cheap, multiway flop, but then someone shoves all in - since it's a free roll, is it ever appropriate to roll the dice and call with your whole stack? Or should we approach free rolls as if there is real money on the line?

I folded on account of my Tournament life, but I'm wondering what the regs around here think.

It depends on your goals.
The best way to win is to fold. This is what you should do if you are trying to build your bankroll.

I already have a bankroll. I fire one of these up sometimes, because I like free money. But I don't pay much attention to the game, and I take a lot of risks. I'd rather be eliminated early, or have a massive stack early, than play tight for hours and (probably) still win nothing.

So I play these much differently than I play games that I pay to enter.

I play these freerolls and I've cashed a few times. I stay away from these flips early because there is a lot of poker left to play. I'd call with QQ+, AKs probably and maybe AKo. If anyone thinks this is nitty you're welcome to make your case. I guarentee you will find better spots later on.

Clearly a fold. You can’t call 17bbs. Even 10bbs would be a fold.

Fold all day. You are behind any pair, any king, and any ace... you are behind a lot of hands. Live to see another day, easy fold.
