How would you play this? Also, I didn't get the option to raise pre-flop again. I could only call. In case you're wondering. Is this always a call on the river?

your mistake in this hand was your 3 bet size pre flop. UTG +1 has 5,210, he raises 400 to 800, leaving him 4,410 chips behind. When you 3 bet, you must raise half his remaining stack or less to allow yourself the opportunity to re-raise isolate later in the hand pre-flop. Your 3 bet should have been 3,005 or less [ 800+2,205 (1/2 of 4,410)]

I did not know that. This blows my mind. So it's: (remaining stack villain : 2 ) + bet villain? So you still have to add the initial bet to half the remaining stack? I can't believe I never knew about this. You're being very helpful, thank you so much.

I can't edit my former post for some reason. So I did about an hour of crazy google searches , being baffled that I never knew about this. Some people call it the "under-raise rule", but officially it's the "full bet rule".

"If a player goes all in with a bet or raise rather than a call, another special rule comes into play. There are two options in common use: pot-limit and no-limit games usually use what is called the full bet rule, while fixed-limit and spread-limit games may use either the full bet rule or the half bet rule. The full bet rule states that if the amount of an all-in bet is less than the minimum bet, or if the amount of an all-in raise is less than the full amount of the previous raise, it does not constitute a "real" raise, and therefore does not reopen the betting action. The half bet rule states that if an all-in bet or raise is equal to or larger than half the minimum amount, it does constitute a raise and reopens the action." (Wikipedia source)

What bets 400 (17K pot) on the turn and jams on the river. its basically check check jam line. and you have 14bb invested by the turn, This is all around sucky, Its a free roll so youre probably crushed here. If you fold you have 36bb still to work with or you can call and freeroll bob flips his 74o

Im cuss folding cause of the Ax and the paired board, and find a better spot

That ace will sink you every time. I'm raising here preflop all in to isolate the short stacks.
