I really believe that I played this as bad as it could be played. I would like to hear others views on these situations because they come up very often. Villain in Hand was showing down very random hands but winning everything (smile)

Intersting situation, I would have difficulty with this as well, I won't say you played bad, maybe it's even the best way to play in this case.

The betting from villain like this could be done with any two cards by a LAG.

Hero has a nice hand in position, I doubt if folding is an option, but would be if villain typically makes very big pots, assuming this is not the case.

Instead of checking the turn, make a sizeable bet there (assuming villain does not even have a pair).
Alternatively a 3bet preflop to 10BB, as hero is very likely ahead, with a likely cBet post flop.

Thanks for your reply, I really think I should have 3 -bet, and I like your idea of a turn bet. Villain was playing too many hands and I should be charging him instead of letting him check to the river.
