I prefer the fold with this AQo at the beginning of the tournament.

Well hero decision should be based on math and math saying (as played) that you should b/f on preflop as played plus no information (early stage). imo

But in general nowadays betting size on preflop t3BB is too much given position (plus no ante plus early stage), i would say t2BB is enough (think about it how villain see that, if villain decided to gij he/she will be pot commited. imo). imo

On early stage you should play more postflop rather than taking coin flips. imo

3bet definition "https://www.pokerwebsites.com/new/3-bet/"

But note that have not played long time CC freeroll

Good luck for future tournaments...

A typical mistake is putting the preflop on the whole stack with an unfinished hand. You have a good chance of winning, but you must understand that this is just a lottery. Even in a freeroll, such a game is not justified.

Odd calculator shows that your chances of preflore were already less than 50%:

I would not go all in, since AQ, although not a bad card, this card is good for allin when you have 20 BB.

You are in early tournament, blinds level 3, Its preferable don't get involved in certains hands. Always remember: you can't win a tournament in only one hand, but you can lost.

study more about hand range, position of the table, bet size and the differences between the tournaments stages.

Assuming you don't have considerable reason to think the villain here is a maniac, this is a fold every time for me.

First, villain has your stack covered. If you lose this hand, you are out of the tournament. This fact means calling here is a game critical decision.

To make a game critical decision I think one of two things need to be true. Either you are at risk of getting blinded down to the point where you have no fold equity against anybody, or your hand strength has your opponent's range crushed the vast majority of the time.

In this situation, neither of those is true.

You are nearly 30 BB deep here, so you aren't about to be blinded down. You can fold to his shove and have plenty of chips left to continue and look for a better spot.

AQ has to improve against too many preflop shoving hands here. You are behind to any pair and AK. Against most other hands that shove here you are barely doing better than a 50/50 flip. This is terrible odds to risk your tournament life when you can fold and still be 20 BB deep.

30 BB deep, in UTG +1 with :ad4: :qc4: is fine to open. In the early stages of freerolls I like to open pots with a min raise with my entire range, because of hands like these. You will often get a 3 bet all in, or multiple callers and have to play the hand OOP multi way.

This hand I would have min raised, then folded to a SB all in. By opening in an early position, you are representing a narrow and strong range. You being 3 bet raised is representing even more strength. AQ off suit is not strong enough to call here. Wait for a better spot
